Had a reservation. Arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Was kept informed as to when our table would be ready. Specially cocktails were great. Seated shortly after our reservation time. Very short wait for our server to take drink and dinner orders. Salads and dinners were great. Server was prompt and efficient.
Went to Clayton to see a show at the Opera house. Upon arrival Channelside was the first place I went to. I had the Shrimp Scampi, salad and chocolate cake for desert. Everything was 6 stars. Everything was fresh and homemade. This place shines in everyday. My waiter was Dan, and his Hawaiian shirt in October and charisma matched the quality of food and bought everything together. I went to many other eating establishments and Channelside was the only one I visited twice....
The restaurant has seating outside right on the St Lawrence River and if the weather is permitting, that is definitely place to be! Kyle was our server and he was very attentive, even after the restaurant got very busy. We had the sea bass special and fried haddock and both meals were very tasty.
