Food is good, a contrast to burger, pizza and other "normal" take away food in clayton . "Not a place to imporess a girl as my father would say . take away only

Been coming here for many years. Get the same stuff. Usually costs 22 dollars. Went up to 26 last time I went. Just bought same stuff and one small sweet n sour chicken extra and it was over 50 DOLLARS!!!! Never again! They just lost a long time customer. Absolutely ridiculous!! Ripoff.

We’ve ordered takeout from New Lucky Kitchen in Clayton a handful of times now, and it hasn’t disappointed. The food is a go to option when we’re craving Chinese in the area.

The fried rice is flavorful, though it can be a little dry on occasion. Both the house special lo mein and chow mein are good picks; the lo mein is hearty, while the chow mein is a lighter but still filling choice. One of my personal favorites is the boneless spare ribs. They have a great flavor, almost a savory sweet n sour taste.

Although the egg rolls are just okay; they tend to be a bit doughy and could use more flavor. Prices are on the higher side, and portions especially for the combination platters are a bit small for what you pay. Still, they’re enough to satisfy.

For being one of the only Chinese takeout options in the area, New Lucky Kitchen is definitely worth checking out.

I see a lot of high reviews, but I must have caught them on a bad night. My chicken was absolutely a leftover they didn’t want to throw out. I think my meal started out 3 days before I bought it. My jaw still hurts. Dress it up with some rice and sauce and no one will ever know???

Small shop across from the gas station. Take out only. Best to order ahead but they make meals fast. Very affordable credit card accepted. They have a barrier up between clerk and customer order into the microphone ?

Dirty, grimy, rude and disinterested. Now let's talk about what they pass off for food..........
Been here twice.....yes, fool me twice shame on me......I figured first time may have been an off night. Second time........disgusting.
Overly salted and bland....everything looked and tasted exactly the same.........no matter how different they might be on the menu. Watery slop with loads of shredded cabbage and the tiniest slivers of meat. I piled the entire ration of pork in my dish and it might have been, including the sauce......maybe an ounce of meat.
Not sure where the 4 star reviewers ate but it sure af wasn't here. Avoid this place like herpes.

Went to restaurant at 7:50 pm. The website says they are open until 9pm. Two men in the kitchen and one by their cash register mopping the floor. I stood there for about 10 minutes. All 3 saw me, and I’m thinking they are busy but will come and say hello soon. After about 10 minutes I left as no one acknowledged me. I’m guessing they were probably closing early , which I would have understood, however they could have come up to me and let me know instead of just letting me stand there. So probably won’t be back.

It's a hit and miss on the spicy foods. My husband loves Dragon & Phoenix but it's never that spicy. That's really the only thing we have ever had a issue with. We love the food and it's quick when in a rush. They are always friendly.

Their phone either doesn’t work or they don’t pick up the phone when you call - ever. Can’t even make an order ? if I could give this place a 0 star rating I would because they clearly don’t want any business. ??
