Does anyone else think $55.64 for 2 Haddock fish frys and 2 domestic beers is outrageous? Add the tip and were over $65. All for an 8 inch long piece of fish and 3 stalks of cold broccoli. We had to ask for the tiny little cup of coleslaw we did not receive, but advertised the dinner came with and told they only had one left. The food took forever to come to the table. I went to the kitchen envisioning our dinners were sitting there getting cold, because of how much time had past, 40 min. They were not busy with dinners at all. The bartender finally brought it and my broccoli was stone cold, no coleslaw, no bread.There was no offer to substitute anything or take anything off the bill.I'm a local and try and like supporting local business, but this was ridiculous. I will not return, suggest or recommend this place to anyone. In fact just the opposite. We used to frequent Obriens for fish frys and they were always slightly overpriced, but this just takes the cake. It was a week since and I'm still taken back by the price and whole experience. It was 7:20 PM on Friday. Maybe beyond what they consider dinner time, but they should have communicated that when I called ahead to ask if they were open for dinner and had fish frys. The piece of fish and Labatts blue lite were good and the fish was not as cold as the broccoli.-Won't Be Back

We decided to go to OBriens when the snowstorm on Feb 18 shut down many restaurants & changed our plans. We usually really enjoy their food. Unfortunately, kids were screaming and running everywhere & it was a bit chaotic (many youth hockey players who were unable to travel too).The 4 of us were going to make the best of it. We took a moment & realized it must be 'seat yourself', so we went to the back to get a quieter table away from the noise. Staff were busy with all the kids, so we pulled 2 tables apart a little while after a group left. We sat quietly talking, looking at the menus that were brought to us. A family of 4 (2 very young kids) came & sat 2 tables away. A waitress comes up and started slamming the table near us into the corner into another table, muttering something sarcastic about us moving the table as we pleased. We were the most quiet, calm & patient people in the pub, so it stunned us that we were in the wrong. So, with that behavior (in front of young kids too!) we decided to leave before ordering, rather than provoke and add to the confusing & tense situation.Disappointed.

O'Briens isn't a fancy 5 star restaurant and bar. But it is a comfortable neighborhood place with good food, fair prices and good service. Good place for out of the area football games with Sundat ticket. We eat here 15 times a year or so.
Very friendly. Very good food for a bar (they have an attached restaurant). Decent prices.

The bartenders are very nice and drinks come out quickly. Very reasonably priced. The live music is very loud, so as long as you don't want to talk to someone it's great. Atmosphere is very fun and laidback.

The food was great! Even though not very busy service was slow. Never offered refill on drinks even though we were there well over an hour (30 minutes of waiting for food and another 10 for the check). If I knew I had to be somewhere in an hour or two, this would not be my choice. I guess if I had time, I might return. Unfortunately, if you aren't drinking alcohol, you aren't making them as much money, and you may be forgotten) A table that can after us got 3 rounds of drinks, but they were drinking alcohol while I had soda, and my husband had water.
Here for the Bills-Jaguars London game. Wish the score was better, but O’Brien’s surely scored high for us, with great draft selections and a delicious bloody Mary, delicious food (fabulous chicken quesadilla and cake) and SUPERB service, despite a packed house. Will visit again soon!

While this appears to be a nice place, it was lacking in the quality of food. We're not hard to please, but my husband's BLT toast was char burned and my broiled haddock sandwich was pretty chilly - not cooked well in the center. Fries were cold. How do you return that half eaten? Should have gone to Channelside.......next time!!

It was busy night our waitress was running around which I don't fault her. I asked for extra sauce which the cooks didn't do. I asked our waitress and she said, "the cooks refused to make my extra sauce." She had compensated our bill however, do better cooks.

Stopped in for dinner and discovered the restaurant was closed for a party. EVERYONE was dining in bar. We decided to stay, and we are glad we did. Despite the crowd, the service was great. Bartender was very nice. The beer was great. The food was excellent. I had the pan seared scallops. Cooked perfectly. Sides were good also.We will be returning. Prices were ok.
