We stopped by for the first time today while celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Three of us each getting a different meal option, it was all absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Also? When you are done dont forget to fully indulge and order dessert (to go of course, you will NOT have room for it after your meal!!). We did so, and when we got home and opened the containers OH MY! Not only were our dessert choice HUGE but we snuck a little bite of each just to try. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Side note, our daughter got the Burbon Caramel Fried Dough Fingers to go and they packaged each element of it seperate in order to sustain the integrity of the end product. Nice touch for sure, kudos!!! You will most definitely be seeing us again.

Such a gorgeous spot. Love sitting outside in the garden. Staff was very accommodating when we were trying to find a shady enough spot for our kids. Food was solid, haddock was delicious!

Four times in three years, this is our go to every time we come to 1000 islands. I don't think I have had anything that I havent been blowed away by. Burgers and Poutine are phenomenal.

The restaurant is a cool place. Has a beautiful garden that includes a small fish filled pond. I had the fish and chips and the fish was delicious. The fries not so much, they were old at 12:00 p.m. the pierogis were some of the best I’ve had. The server was nice however the person that delivered my son’s chicken tenders spilled them on the table and didn’t really seem to care. Overall it was an ok experience however it probably won’t visit again.

Small town, early in the season, people just don’t have a lot of options? I’m not sure why, but the Hot Spot hasn’t put any thought into the food it serves. While the space is decent, my beer was warm and the table was searching for ANY flavor in the food (poutine, bisque, sandwiches, fries and salads). How are you a poutinerie that doesn’t use salt??! Side note to the town of Clayton- it’s 2025, I shouldn’t be searching for quarters to park a car.
Used to love this place, but make sure you check with them on listed menu items and do NOT base your meal off of the pictures of the menu as they are outdated.

Had the buffalo cauliflower, which was super tasty but the big pieces were still frozen inside. I had a poutine, however my fries were lukewarm, otherwise good flavors. I'd recommend they work on their fryer timing, then the food.com would be stellar. Staff was friendly and the drafts were good.

Stumbled in here by accident for dinner and a murder mystery performance! So looking specifically at The Hops Spot, the service was excellent. Our dinners were exquisite! The building itself is so gorgeous and I would love to dine here again under normal circumstances 😆
