I have never visited a family own ice cream shop in a touristy area that doesn’t offer samples. Maybe they could implement a sampling limit or charge a small fee—perhaps $1 for a sample of 3 or 4 flavors. You’d better go in knowing what you like.

The older women working was very rude and had an attitude from the moment we walked into the door. It was not busy at all, 3 people in front of us were ordering and the whole time she was sighing. We went to order our ice cream and from the first moment we had a conversation she was very rude and sighing. She told us the price and we were happy to pay that but when we told her card she started sighing and rolling her eyes because she said “card is over there” and she was very unhappy to walk 5 feet over to the other counter to cash us out. The ice cream is good but poor customer service skills were displayed and we take this trip yearly and disappointed on how we were greeted from walking in the door.

Wheelchair accessibility: This ice cream shop was not accessible a few years ago. It is located in an old building. When the sidewalks on the Main Street were redone, the owner made the building very accessible. We love going there.

I order coffee cakes from there whenever I have company. She even does gluten free coffee cakes! The pastries are delicious. Love the ice cream! I’m partial to the peanut butter cup flurry with chocolate ice cream. Delicious! The owner is friendly and fabulous.

We went into The Scoop and even walking up to the shop our kids were in love ! The lady working was absolutely amazing friendly and was very accommodating!! We had some of the sorbet’s , Italian Ice’s , an oat milk vegan option , and regular chocolate . Everything was perfect and the sooo delicious. Will definitely be stopping back to try some more again and again
