Just stopped by for lunch. I had a red hotdog and side of sweet potato fries, hubs has a southern hotdog with a side of waffle fries. Best lunch we've had in a long time, very simple, inexpensive, and relaxing sitting on the side patio. Even though I'm pretty sure the fries are bagged they were cooked to perfection, crispy outside and soft inside. The dogs cooked just right, not a lot of char but split the way they should be. Would definitely recommend stopping by. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other options.

They have really good food

Every time we try to give this place a second, third, fourth chance, it gets worse. This last time, they forgot an order of fries, my son's chicken fingers were cold on the inside, and the three bottles of water that cost $6 were warm. Not again.

Nice spot for when you are craving a hot dog or a trash plate!

Been coming here since I was in middle school. Nothing says spring has arrived like a hot dog from the Caboose!

Decided to try something new, well NEVER AGAIN will we go here!! $78 for a couple burgers and two fries SCREW THAT! Such a rip off. And the worst part is THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING and DEFINITELY NOT worth what's charged!! ?

I think they changed ownership since I worked in Clyde 5 years ago. I had been looking forward to going back for years through COVID only to get an OK garbage plate. The menu looks to be similar but noticeably different. The conductor burger is gone and now the meat sauce says "Duncan's Meat Sauce" instead of nothing. The onion rings were standard and a smaller portion than in the past. Much less substantial and nothing special like they were before. The French fries used to be straight cut with a beer battered option (crispies on the outside) and now they're just your standard bakable crinkle cut fries. Again, nothing special and unsalted. The overall plate was OK. "With everything" just came with the listed ingredients (baked beans, fries, Mac salad, Duncan's Meat Sauce, and tenders), no onions, no mustard. I'm really sad to see that it changed so much. Dog Town is now the definitive top of my Garbage Plate leaderboard.
