we have had several bad experiences with service here unfortunately. Inexcusabley long waits for food only for it to come out cold, hair in food on more than one occasion, spoiled milk in our coffee (after waitress admitted the fridge was broken it made us wonder if ANY of our food was good on that visit). if it had been one or even 2 bad experiences we can forgive - obviously even businesses have rough days. but it seemed to be a common occurrence leading us to stop going to the cobleskill diner altogether

Went to have a birthday dinner with daughter her husband and children. Was very nice with attentive and polite staff.
Update:/. This is my second time visiting and I already said please don't come back? The pasta lacked salt, so the Chicken tenders and soup had too much salt.
First comment. Good attention. The Sundae's they sell are enough for two people, it's too ice cream ? The fried sweet potatoes and the pasta in White sauce that my daughter ordered were good, that pasta is enough for 3 or 2 people. They have many beautiful and funny phrases in pictures ?

I would post photos but the food was so good and we were hungry we didn't get any photos. The staff was incredible. We went for breakfast and this place got packed fast. I wish I lived closer as this would be our go to spot. Wish I was able to try their ice cream. Loved all the funny signs around the diner.
We've been here twice, the first time was great! Food and staff were terrific. Today...not so much. My husband and I ordered the same thing we did last time we visited a few months ago but wow, what a difference. I have to assume it was different staff cooking. My turkey club had obviously burned toast and the fries were very overdone. My husband's hot roast beef sandwich was described by him as "sad" with very little meat and the mashed potatoes were super lumpy. The waitress was polite enough but seemed very rushed, with almost no one in the restaurant. Hey, I get it ...everyone has off days but we won't be coming back and we won't be recommending this diner.
