Easter Sunday Dinner 2024 - Exquisite The rack of lamb was seasoned & cooked to perfection...tender, moist, cut like butter. Thank you! We were given all the time in the world to enjoy dinner...as though it were not a busy holiday. Wait service was exceptional. The entire experience was enjoyed by family who were visiting from out-of-state. The ambiance was a cozy, busy, and boasted water views. Plus, we had a visit from the Easter Bunny! Went their for a friend's 80th birthday party with his family & close friends! All of the food we had was very well prepared & Delicious. A great place with a great view over looking Cold Spring Harbor. We were upstairs a lower area to eat & a bar area too. I would recommend trying the Harbor Mist Restaurant in C.S.Harbor, NY.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. We were on first floor, airy, light, spacious, lovely water view, even better on 2nd floor I’m sure. Food was delicious (especially dessert!). Staff was friendly and attentive. It was my Dad’s 83rd birthday, and they brought out a gorgeous dessert for him with “Happy Birthday “ written with caramel sauce on the plate and sang to him- and I had not requested anything. ?

We enjoyed brunch here. Sat upstairs overlooking the harbor in a cozy corner table. The lychee martini was delicious. Service very attentive. The food was tasty. My husband had the blueberry waffles which were good but the maple syrup was not real and definitely took away from the meal. My burger was good. Would try it again

I've been here multiple times, and it never seems to disappoint.I've been coming to this restaurant for years! The food is spectacular, the service is amazing, and it has a beautiful view. Sylvia and Javier are always super friendly and welcoming! I could chat with them for hours. Highly recommend stopping here for great food.

Party of 4 Excellent meal and service! Crab cake and baked clams appetizer delicious. The Mango Salsa for the crab cake perfect. Steak Salmon Tuna and Short Rib entrees all cooked to perfection and nice portions! Crème Brûlée for dessert completed a a great meal. Our host Javier was top notch ! Definitely get a table upstairs the views are amazing! Highly recommend!

service great and atmosphere great for adults and those trying to be adults. sweaters and button downs in the dining room, mainly, no dresses and no suits. not too many kids either-another plus. food was mixed but nothing too special. i would order the steak again but lobster tail was terrible. in the middle (good enough but nothing we will rave about) were the scallops, baked clams and clam chowder. hummus in the table was actually A-plus, tastiest thing on the table. they took off the lobster tail from the bill which was respectable and i'll go back sometime to try the pork chop for lunch. but all-in, for a seafood place i have to say it's very quirky because seafood is definitely not the thing they do best.

this a seafood place and thus i have to rate it as such. they were out of whole lobster, so we got surf and turf; while the steak was really tender and delicious, the lobster tail was awful-zero taste and rubbery. the scallops, clam chowder and baked clams were okay but nothing with the wow factor. the hummus on the table was A-plus and may have been the tastiest thing on the table. our server was very, very nice and the staff was really hustling all night. they did take the whole surf and turf off the bill so that showed they do care about the customers dining experience in my view. good vibe, and i'd probably go back and try a pork chop at lunchtime to give it another try.

We celebrated two family birthdays at this meal. The waitress couldn't have been more helpful. The food was delicious. We were on the main floor by the fire place as the room was a little chilled. It was a good choice for us!
The food, the service, our waitress Sylvia and overall dining experience was 5 star to say the least. The linguine fra Diablo, and linguine white clam sauce, were one of the best I have tasted in a long time. It was our first meal at Harbor Mist and definitely won't be the last. Bon appétit!!!
When we first got there there was hardly anyone there and we had the room mostly to ourselves. Was peaceful. The food was amazing. Very good and we were very happy with it. Not only was the salmon delicious but they removed the skin off the back which was perfect so I wasn't having to pull it out and away from my meal. Most restaurants do not do this and it's frustrating. Service was perfect. However after dinner everything changed. It was my Dad's 75th Birthday and they ended up ruining it. It was marked all over the reservation and they did zero. Not even wish him a happy birthday. Also the desserts were cold and tasted like right out of fridge. Gelato tasted like old ice cream and the cake was stale. We would've gotten past that if they sang to him but we were so disappointed and my dad was upset. Then we didn't even get the check for 20 minutes. We won't be going here anymore and especially not for birthdays. Grassos and Sand Bar down the block do way better and much more for your birthday with sparklers on your dessert and singing!

Javier is excellent and very accommodating The food and service is outstanding The scallops were moist and tender and the pork chop was excellent also Michelle the bartender is wonderful All the service staff goes above and beyond To ensure you have a great time
