We visited Sandbar for Restaurant Week and couldn't have been more impressed! The special menu was an incredible deal with very generous portions. I had the cod dish with coconut broth — hands down the best cod I've ever had in my life. It's an absolute must-try. My wife had the salmon with cilantro couscous and kept saying how amazing and thoughtful the flavors were. For dessert, we shared the chocolate lava cake and the crème brûlée, and both were the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable evening. A huge shoutout to our server, Carlos, who was super informative about the menu and had an awesome attitude the whole night. Thanks to the amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service, we're already booking our next reservation. Can't wait to come back!
We had an incredible experience at Sandbar! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful — from the relaxed coastal vibe to the elegant details, it's the perfect spot for a special night out. The highlight of our meal was definitely the crispy rice tuna — it was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of texture and flavor. Our server, Janessa, made the evening even more memorable with her warm, attentive service and great recommendations. Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back!
We have been coming to Sandbar for years and have never been disappointed until last night. The big thing was the food. The tuna tartare was tasteless and my salmon was over cooked.
Amazing food and we were not rushed to eat and leave quickly. Our waiter Carlos was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food selections.
My entree was cold and that was a big turnoff. Been there before, probably won't go back for a while
Food would be 4 star, if it was served hotter. Every visit the dishes come out “warm”, next visit we will ask that they be “hot”. Overall, nice dining experience.
Mom's 87th birthday. Parking was a breeze. Hostess Carli had a great personality and made us feel at home. Our waiter, Paris, was very attentive and did an excellent job of making sure we all were satisfied. I've been here many times it keeps getting better!
Great food, atmosphere, and service. Definitely check this restaurant out.

First, shout out to Kenneth our server! He took such good care of the 6 of us as we had lots of questions (first time at restaurant). 5 of the 6 of us live on the West Coast, so always have a lobster roll when we can. It was one of the best I've ever had. One person had the fish tacos and said they were excellent. I believe him because he wolfed them down. I chose this restaurant not knowing anything about it or the area, and luck was on my side. If I lived nearby I'd be a regular.
Stop by for a lunch. The ambience and atmosphere is really good here. Food is good as well by the coffee is horrible. We ordered latte but it seems they got regular brewed coffee and added milk. Would not recommend to order coffee here

Wonderful dining experience with hits and misses. Great service. Fish and chips is amazing with a batter that is so airy light and crispy, the fish is succulent and flaky. The linguine with mixed seafood disappointed: the dish lacked brine/salt, and the pasta was overcooked. But the mussels, shrimp, and clams were all beautifully tender. The tuna tartare appetizer needed salt. Good crème brûlée. The restaurant is lovely with beautiful paintings of Cold Spring Harbor. Our waiter was attentive and helpful.
The Duck tacos were phenomenal, as is the steak!

After a morning hike, we decided to stop by Sandbar in Cold Spring Harbor for brunch, and it was a delightful choice! We were quickly seated in the outdoor area, which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful day. We started with the chickpea frites as an appetizer, paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for me and "The Sound" cocktail for him—both were excellent. For lunch, we shared the chicken and steak sandwiches, each served with fries. The food was good, and the relaxed outdoor setting made it even better. Overall, a very nice spot to unwind after a hike.

What a great spot! Beautiful dining area - but we sat at the bar to watch some sports. The octopus was unreal and very filling. The burger and steak sandwich (garlic!!) were great as well. I’ll be back for sure.
