From the wide plank floors, to the folksy/jazzy music, to the couple arguing about the nature of modernism (in French), the vibe of this place is perfect. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the coffee roast was exquisite, the staff knew what they were talking about and the pastries melted in the mouth.
I felt comfortable here and will go back anytime I’m in town.

My husband and I happened upon here while passing through Cold Spring, and we were pleased to see they have some vegan baked goods in addition to plant milks. Some syrups, in the least, were vegan for the lattes. We liked our matcha and coffee lattes but didn’t try any baked goods. Cute vibe. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-25

Cold Spring is a charming little coffee shop with really good coffee and fresh, delicious pastries. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere—it’s a nice place to relax, catch up on work, or just take a quiet break. The staff were friendly, and everything felt welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
