Terrible experience at Doug’s Pretty Good Pub. The service at the host stand was absolutely awful, rude, unwelcoming, and completely unprofessional. We left disappointed before even getting seated. Definitely not going back.

The host was very rude. Didn’t let us sit. Even when we suggested to split up and sit in different tables, he yelled at us and told us to go. Also the place is very cramped and there’s almost no room to breathe. Very unpleasant interaction.

Doug blocked us (2 females) from entering on account of my service dog and him being allergic. Asked him if we could sit outside and he said no, he then proceeded to telling me that I’m “being Irish” (I’m not) but clearly Doug isn’t a fan of anyone not from the local area. Don’t spend your money here, cold spring is a friendly place and Doug’s can be easily skipped.

Those shrimp tacos were spot on. (I ordered it twice one after the other since it was so good) Also the bartender was very professional and welcoming. The cocktails I had were high end. Definitely will come again.

Doug and staff weren’t friendly to us or others (although the woman-perhaps wife, was very nice). The food was not great and over priced. There were also several no cell phone signs which seemed odd and kinda rude(as was the sign that read be kind or be gone). I think I’ll be gone.

This pub was definitely more than pretty good. The English muffin burger is an interesting twist, though is definitely up to personal preference. Food was great, Doug was nice, mostly just him and one other server (to my knowledge).

Really nice take on burgers with the English muffin replacing the buns. I was really pleased with their quality ingredients. The food was fresh, it came out quick, and tested as good as any burger I’ve had. Second to none was the burger, and the onion rings were probably the best I’ve ever had - super crispy. Really great food and atmosphere.

The best burger and onion rings I ever tried, I also ordered a salad with 3 types of beans, bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, and best dressing. Cozy atmosphere that will take you back to old days. Funny silent films with Charlie Chaplin, homely bar, and of course a magnificent customer service. highly recommended!!!!
