I ordered a surprise bag from Too Good To Go because I had never tried this place before and was curious about their baked goods. Too Good To Go offers a bag containing $18 worth of food for $5.99. These are items that are still perfectly edible, but may not be the freshest in stock.
My order included two slices of loaf cake and one muffin. I popped them in the microwave for a few seconds and was happy to find that they stayed nice and moist! I would consider going back to try their coffee, but I may skip the baked goods next time. In my opinion, $18 seems like a high valuation for these three items, especially since the loaf slices were very thin.
That said, their hot food menu sounds delicious and they offer some really unique specialty drinks. The shop is located inside a boutique, which gives it a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was also friendly and welcoming.
Great spot! Will def be back
Stopped by here since it’s on the way to a Buddhist temple in NY. As you entered, it is shared space with a cute boutique shop. Modern design and very clean! The cashier is very nice and friendly. Enjoyed the special house coffee.
Such a great find in Cold Spring! Their longganisa sandwich (Filipino chorizo) and pandan latte were sooo good. Tip: Ask for vinegar with the longganisa for an authentic twist. As a Filipino, I always try to look for restaurants that spark memories of my homeland, and Kape Mo delivers with fresh, tasty food and incredible service. Will surely come back again!
Such a charming cafe. As soon as you enter, you feel like part of the community, with a warm friendly smile. The coffee is delicious with lots of great options on the menu. It’s fun to sip your coffee and browse in The Collective’s boutique.
I love this place! I’m gluten free and it was such a pleasure to have so much to choose from. My salad with salmon cakes was delicious, as were our coffees. Will definitely be coming back.
Sandwiches are not good (neither of the 2 options they offer).
I visited Kape Mo while exploring Cold Spring and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. Their coffee had a sharper, almost sour edge that lingered on my palate—nothing like the smooth, balanced cup I was expecting. It tasted more like over-extracted beans than a carefully crafted roast, leaving a bitter aftertaste that just wouldn’t quit.
To make matters worse, I ordered their BBQ chicken sandwiches at $17.00, the meat was dry and under-seasoned, with a sauce that tasted watered-down and flat. For that price, I expected bold flavors and a hearty bite—not this limp, lackluster sandwich.
Unless they revamp both their roast and their sandwiches, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, people were all great. We will be back.
The Spicy Honey Latte was perfect. I love the open space and air here. I also recommend the BBQ chicken sandwich. Overall amazing place!

Im so glad to see a Filipino influenced coffee shop in the Cold Spring Village! I highly recommend the Pandan and Ube lattes. YUM! Our Barista Angie was incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable about coffee. Thank you again, Angie!!
By far the best cappuccino I’ve had in the Hudson Valley. The shop has a unique design that makes you want to hang out and drink another cup.
Sweet café with great coffees, delicious foods, and gluten-free options, which can be harder to find in town. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere inside the Ascend Collective. Highly recommend!
This is such a nice spot!! Their BBQ chicken sandwich is to die for, and they have something for everyone. Not normally a coffee person but I like the coffee here - definitely coming back soon
I ordered the “caramelised garlicky pork sandwich with crispy rice Patties (GF) served with a side of fresh veggies” sounds good right?
What I got are frozen pre-made patties with an unappetising block of meat and eggs, slid into a toasting oven… Incredibly bland and hard. I’m also intolerant to egg and it never said in the menu it would come with egg, luckily I was able to remove it. To top it all off, I got no side veggies with my order, like it said, just that frozen sandwich :((
