It is a nice restaurant where everything is done with love ,from cooking to serving. I wish I could find more opportunities to swing by and enjoy it .

Solidly mediocre food.
Overall, the service was fine, but our server was passive aggressive and a bit rude. We didn’t take it personally because they were clearly over run with visitors. We waited about 45 minutes for our meal (3 salads and 1 cheese pizza, 1 burger, and 1 salmon), didn’t get bread until after our meal was served, and when we asked for the check because we needed to catch a train, our waitress said she would wait until we had finished (so she could offer us coffee and dessert, is my best guess).
I will probably eat somewhere else the next time I’m in Cold Spring.

It's a family restaurant. There wasn't much space between the tables. A food it was nice with generous portions. It was innovative because we can scan a QR code for watch a menu. And a service it was good.

Went in for a quick bite after a leisure hike. The food is NOT good and for the price a CRIME. The $22 10” pizza with caramelized onion and bacon was not good. Extremely salty and the white sauce tasted like cream cheese. The $15 salad was a complete joke. Wish I took a picture. Two miniature slices of beet thrown in with about 20 pcs of lettuce. Only restaurant in 2025 that doesn’t accept credit cards…only cash. After the rude hostess sat us, we should have left. Trust your gut and save your gut. Skip this. Lots of other places on Main Street.

The eggplant parmigiana is excellent! Our waitress Mindy is terrific. She is pleasant, friendly and very accommodating. It is always an a wonderful experience going to Riverview Restaurant.

Ravioli was overcooked and sauce tasted like it’s out of a can. Weird that they listed it on the “specials”
From the moment we were greeted, the staff radiated a friendly and welcoming energy that continued throughout the entire dinner. The views, especially from the patio, were remarkable. The food was incredible. I enjoyed a Beyond Burger served with the most delicious fries and freshest toppings. There is truly something special about this spot.

Everything about my visit here was phenomenal! The staff were so kind and accommodating - hostess Joanne and waitress AnnMarie were both excellent. The Oysters were honestly the BEST I’ve had in a long time! 10/10. Owner was very nice too. I’ll definitely be back!
