Great casual spot. Excellent food and service! No matter what you order, you’ll be sure to enjoy every morsel. I ordered the Mediterranean salad for lunch and it was delicious! I’ve eaten there 3 times over the weekend and each time is better than the previous. GO! Did not waste your time anywhere else on Main St in Cold Spring. This is the hot spot in town.

Repeating other reviews on the absurd rude behavior of the staff. Attempted a late lunch here on a weekday. There were more staff than customers. Entered the restaurant and was immediately told to wait outside in the hot sun while several staff milled around inside chatting with each other. Another group outside experienced the same and also left. They need an adult here. The few customers seated seemed despondent and craving both food and service
. Can't comment on the food. Went to a delicious experience at Cozy Corner.

SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! Food is mediocre and the lady serving us has attitude. Like, if you dont want to work in a service food industry, then quit girlie. She didn't attend to us for 15 mins.
DONT RECOMMEND!

I really don't understand why this place gets such mixed reviews. We wanted to go the Cozy Corner Cafe, but of course the line was long and the wait for a table was even longer. So we came here instead, and I'd say I was just as happy! The wait staff was nice, and we got an air conditioned indoor table pretty immediately. I got the General Tso's Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious and tender. I didn't find the food to be worse than Cozy Corner's, so the much lower reviews don't seem deserved. And they also have all day breakfast if that's something you're interested in!
Very slow service, which is surprising given the number of wait staff they had and that the restaurant wasn't even crowded. They had a number of younger workers, probably because of the summer season, but they were all a lot more efficient and diligent than the older lady, who seemed to be doing as little as she could and moving at a glacial speed.
We were seated immediately, but it took maybe 10-15 minutes to even get glasses of water let alone our order taken. The wait staff were tending other tables, and when we made eye contact with the older lady saying we were ready to order, she said to give her a minute as she took her time to check on a table outside. Another wait staff eventually was able to give us water and take our order.
The food also came out slowly. We ordered a hummus platter, the fruit bowl side, and the eggs and hash. The eggs and hash was not bad -- the hash was a bit on the oily side. The hummus platter was just alright -- the pita bread was dry and stale.
The lady was nice, but didn't seem to have proper customer service / restaurant etiquette. She just wasn't attentive, didn't have a good second nature for tending customers, and when we were heading out the door after our meal she kind of motioned to give her the right of way as she was coming in, which is a small thing but it surprised us because we thought usually the workers would give their customers right of way.
Overall, the food was just average, but given the pace of this place, I wouldn't return here. The younger workers really were apt though, and they were great with refilling our water when they saw it was empty. All the workers seemed to be tending all table without much coordination.

Do not waste your money dining here. Would give this restaurant less than one star if I was given the option to. The food was good but the owner was rude. Terrible experience at the foundry rose.
Really enjoyed the hash dish and pancakes!! Staff was attentive and friendly. Had breakfast two days in a row!

Waited a long time. Didnt mind the wait because of the holiday. But ordered a vegan burger. It was missing ingredients from what was on the menu. Having ordered a burger, I was expecting a bun, but instead, they made it with two tiny pieces of bread. Worst burger I’ve ever had. Whatever my wife ordered had different ingredients than what was on the menu. Overall, poor quality food
great food selection. we stopped here for lunch because the menu was appealing to us. we saw lots of brunch and breakfast items being served while there so we do plan to come back for an earlier meal as well!

They have a nice spot and friendly staff. We went there with our kids and the $17 burger from the kids menu was the saddest food my kids have had forever. I think the price is generally slightly higher than the quality they deliver. You can find much better restaurant experience within this price range in the area

Our party of 4 was received with friendly faces and kind staff. We had little wait time and the food stood out to us as we explored other places but we kept coming back here for better quality and tasting food. Would recommend to check them out!

Lovely little restaurant in Cold springs. Had the biscuits and gravy, apple pie pancakes, and a ricotta board to share. All of the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for brunch spot.
