The Colden Mill Restaurant

I wasn’t sure what to expect- I found the place on google while I was searching for a fun place to take my wife on Valentine’s Day that we’ve never been to. Looked cute in the pictures, so figured would give it a shot…and I am so so so happy we did! It has an incredible rustic feel (being an actual old Mill that’s almost 200 years old) and a warm a cozy vibe. The hostess was very kind, and sat us immediately, even though we were a tad early for our reservation. My wife was super excited because there was a working wood-burning stove right next to our table and it was so calming and toasty! The waitress was a delight, and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Since it was V-Day they had a special menu for the night, and I promise every option looked incredible- it was really hard to choose! Needless to say, the Steak I ordered was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The drink menu has some delicious options as well, and fit the vibe perfectly! For desert I got this insane Apple Fritter + ice cream bowl that really blew me away. If I wasn’t so full, I would’ve ordered a second it was so good! Such an awesome place. I’m very excited to go back again. It is easily the best Google search I’ve ever made for a restaurant!

The dining was tasty; well presented. The atmosphere of the Colden Mill is always fit..especially during the winter snows. And, Chuck is there, doing his magic behind the bar

Colden Mill has a great atmosphere. The décor is rustic, well thought out, and gives the restaurant a very cozy, inviting feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The onion soup was bland, lacking depth of flavor. The pork belly had a poor presentation and was surprisingly flavorless. The caprese salad was very basic—something I easily could have made at home. My wife ordered the crab-stuffed halibut, which was fine but nothing memorable. I had the ribeye, which was chewy and disappointing for the price point. Overall, Colden Mill nails the ambiance, but the food was average at best and didn't match the quality the space suggests.

Always a very nice visit. Food is great! Super comfortable and relaxing. We plan on stopping in for just drinks in the near future.

My first time here, and it was very underwhelming. They had a different menu for Christmas Eve, which I can understand, but prices were really jacked up. And the 2 dinners I really was interested in- filet mignone and the chicken, they were out of both. I ended up with the prime rib and it was just ok. The vegetables were the best part of the meal. I think our bill was about $180 for 2 dinners and 2 cocktails. And no bread! I had read in a review they had really good bread lol We probably won't ever go back.

Favorite place to go out and have a meal. Warm, inviting. Staff are like your long time friends. Food is fabulous. It's comfort food with flair!

The food was very good and the servers were all very pleasant and helpful. Inside is charming and decorated in a comfortable relaxing way.

First time there. Food was delicious as was the wine. Friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Try this every couple of years. I knew when the coconut shrimp came out overboard and dark brown nothing has changed.

Can’t find our review, that we wrote.
Food was terrible and overpriced, can see why the place was mostly empty.
Used to be nice.
Maybe no cook, just a microwave to reheat crap, tasted like it.
Again, it was way overpriced!
We won’t be back!

My husband and me had a wonderful dinner last night. Place is beautiful, table decor very nice. Service great and food was fabulous. Very reasonable prices also.
