This has been my second dinner experience over here with my guests. I wholeheartedly give this restaurant five stars not only because of the delicious food and exceptional wine list but also the pleasantness of the staff. I do wish they had a little more options on their menu regarding French food. However, that is really nothing to complain about. The only one pet peeve I had which I must mention is the place setting. Everything was perfect except they do not place dinner forks on the table. I did however eat with a salad fork as did my guests. Granted, this is nothing to take away from the five stars I gave it but being a "classy" kind of restaurant, one would think they would have a place setting properly displayed at each table. But, I will be there again in the future and no doubt the food will be delicious but I do hope I see a dinner fork.

My wife and I grabbed dinner here after work one night to use a gift certificate we received as a gift. The location is a bit out of the way. After reading reviews we were a bit concerned. The inside of the restaurant has a quaint feel and there is a big fireplace. The menu had all the French food item choices you would expect. The waiter was welcoming and attentive. My wife and I were happily surprised with our food choices which included escargot and lamb chops. I would recommend this place to anyone I the Queens area who likes French food. It's s nice date spot.

Larry L apparently is a frustrated journalist who can't compose a sentence without sounding like an illiterate 3rd grader. Danny's is enjoyable. The food is above average, very unique and tasty and priced on average to comparable restaurants serving similar cuisine. Give it a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you like to try new dishes. Allen

Regular customer to this restaurant, but first time visiting after recent renovation. Overall, we loved the food here and we do think it's a slight upgrade in food quality. Happy to see that foie gras is now added to the menu. But we do think it's a little pricey consider this is a relatively neighborhood restaurant. We came here on a Sunday afternoon, the waiter is extremely friendly and helpful. Since my partner wanted more cooked porterhouse, our waiter offered to bring in a stone hot plate for him while I can still enjoy more rare meat. I would recommend this place, but I would visit more often if the price is a little lower.
