The restaurant was closed. I don't understand how I can make a reservation on Open Table and the restaurant isn't open. Really disappointed.

When we arrived, it was obvious that the restaurant was closed! Even though we had a reservation, which we confirmed through this app! It was Easter Sunday, so it was impossible to find last minute reservations elsewhere. Ruined our food plans and we were terribly disappointed. It should be noted that there are signs on the doors of the restaurant that say it is temporarily closed. Do a better job, Open Table!

We made a reservation for dinner for a special occasion this past Saturday night only to find that the restaurant was closed with a sign in the door and no notification. It was pouring rain and we had to find an alternative last minute. I've always enjoyed the food and ambience at Restaurant X and was very disappointed!

Good food, but was unable to accommodate simple food allergy changes to both starter and main course meals. My wife, could not get a glass of soda after several trys with any syrup in it. Good support service. Overcharged for extra drink, I did not have. Was corrected by waiter.

The food preparation and presentation are still very good. Unfortunately the decor needs an update. At the very least some new paint and flooring would make the place more inviting.

I love Restaurant X I've celebrated multiple events there and have had a wonderful time on slow nights and busy holidays, except this time. It was an absolute disaster from the valet having us waiting in a line of empty cars, waiting 25 minutes even with our reservation, we didn't have one waiter but a mix of whoever was available, I felt so rushed our 4 course meal was rushed out to us and on a night I wanted to drink my wine enjoy Valentine's Day with my partner and they had us in and out in 40 minutes. Also I always order the beef Wellington it's amazing except this time it was so overdone and tasted like hamburger. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and ruined a once loved restaurant

Restaurant X has always been consistently EXCELLENT for decades!! Peter Kelly is the quintessential super chef that ticks every box. He never disappoints so any choice you make will be a successful one! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Cozy environment overall but I especially enjoy the fireplace in the bar area. There's a reason Peter bested Bobby Flay!!
