I was very surprised to see a different menu and prices than I saw on te website. I asked if they had VEGETARIAN empanadas. The waiter said no problem. Absolutely. When the food arrived and I took a bite, I realized that it was not vegetarian but in fact it was made with ground beef. I told the waiter 4 times that I do not want meat. After the fact I was told that they do not have vegetarian empanadas and they only have meat. I told him to take it away. It took almost 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our dinner. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will NEVER step foot in this place EVER AGAIN and I would suggest that nobody should ever eat in this establishment. Service was HORRIBLE and the are a bunch of liars.

My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant. There was no diet soda or in sweetened ice tea so I only had water to drink. My taco salad was very dry and we both agreed that the serving sizes had gotten smaller. The last time we went here the food was a whole lot better and we got free chips with salsa. We are not planning on going back here again.

Waited 40 minutes take out order for three fish tacos and ceviche. The taco were disgusting, maybe one filet of Toulouse and some greasy green peeper a few onions wrapped in an oil soaked greasy taco. See photo and basically inedible. Don't be fooled by their Their ceviche was just as sad, mostly imitation crab with couple of shrimp and 4 small rings of squid. We chucked the tacos in the trash, picked at the cervacie and swore we WILL never order from Sangris in Congers NY again. PS the hostess couldn't really give a care about me or my order. After PLEADING with he she finally went into the kitchen and brought out my order. It was was cold and dead on arrival. I even tipped her for my take out order got me nothing. Last time in this place....

Empty except one other table and yet service was still very slow and made my order wrong. When I asked about time to remake, I was told it would be quick, but in reality it took almost 30 more minutes. They did give us a complimentary flan and finally apologized at the end.

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Fast friendly service, delicious food, large portions and reasonable food prices - drinks good but on the expensive side.

Sangria's moved to a larger location nearby at 97 Route 303, Congers. The location has indoor and outdoor seating, and onsite parking. Our party of four arrived on a Saturday without a reservation, but were seated fast at a inside table. Chips and salsa arrived fast, drink order was given, and also arrived fast. I realize that the restaurant is busy at this time, but when asked for a dish of salsa, and refill of water, one should not be waiting 10-15 minutes. Quality of food went down, and the prices went up, with an additional charge for credit card usage.
