It is no longer the Conklin Fare diner.... It is called Silver Linings, and it is awesome for a diner, decent prices, good food, friendly waitress, could use a different paint scheme. All around great diner!
If I were rating Jane's only against other local diners I would probably give it four stars but objectively, the food is only so-so. At a recent lunch I had the Philly cheesesteak it was a good size and on a nice roll. However the only cheese available was bland American. In Philadelphia the choices are provolone or Cheese Whiz. It came with peppers and onions but hot pepper relish was not available. My wife had liver and onions--one of her favorites. The liver was way overcooked...
We stopped for dinner on our way to Ontario. We were looking for a quick dinner that wasn't fast food. This was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. The turkey was roasted on the bone, moist, and flavorful. My husband ordered the tortellini special and enjoyed. The menu , while typical diner, had good specials, many items made from scratch and inexpensive. This place is a gem!
