Food was great. We had our service dog with us and supplied our credentials but the young gentleman host still said we had to sit outside because dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. He was very firm about this. Once we were seated the same host had to make a separate trip to our table to remind us that our dog must behave or we would have to leave. Meanwhile, our dog was laying down beside me and never made a peep and slept the whole time. After all, it is a very well trained...
My TasteBuds and I were able to squeeze in a late in the season dinner at the Blue Mingo. The moon rose up to meet and casted a blue hue over the place and the food and I realized why the place got its name.

I've been coming here for years and have always love this place. The last two times I brought friends because I think it's a special destination. Boy was I embarrassed. The food is mediocre at best and the service, especially this last time was horrible. We couldn't dicuss the food issues because she was just gone and it was a slow mid-afternoon. Oh well, im sure we'll find somewhere new.
