This place is amazing! Every beer is perfect and their food tastes so good it'll make you wanna slap your momma. We started with the fried green beans served in a darling little fry basket, and for entrees we had the haddock patty with red potato salad and the SpurBurger II. I had a full pour of the Leatherstocking Brown Ale and a small pour of the Sleeping Lion Red Ale and the Irish Red.

The best fish fry for miles and miles! Great crew and Becky is always gracious.

This place was absolutely spectacular. From the food to the service, all around top notch. I have a dairy allergy and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could eat what I ordered. They helped me navigate the menu and went back and forth to double check each ingredient to make sure it was safe. The food itself was also delicious, definitely recommend the zealous burger. Furthermore, I have a tailbone injury at the moment and was standing most of the time and they were so accommodating and asking if they could get me anything, a comfier seat, even asking to get a sweatshirt from their own car for me to sit on. Thank you Lindsey and Becky and all of the staff for going above and beyond. Truly a place worth stopping!

Terrific brewpub. The original plan was to go to Ommegang, which of course is a legend, but our local host said he preferred Council Rock and the website gave us the sense that we would too. Service was friendly, and so were the other patrons. We started with a flight of five beers. All were good and fresh. Highlights were a fine (not hazy!) American IPA and the outstanding Leatherstocking Brown Ale (followed by a glass and a crowler to go). My burger was excellent — I ordered it medium and it was very red, just right. Fries were very good, though we liked the regular fries better than the signature garlic pesto fries. The haddock burger wasn’t quite what we were hoping for, as it the fish was mashed up and shaped into a crab cake-like patty, but overall the meal was an excellent experience, and good value.PS They also do flights of ten, which I’d never heard of before.

This is one of the best spots to eat in Cooperstown. They have good variety of items on the menu. On Fridays, they have beer-battered fist which is excellent. We visited them twice recently - Sept and Dec 2023 - both times, the service was friendly and very accommodating. They do not have a large dining room, so once you are done eating and drinking, it's time to move on to make room for the next dining party. Their beer selection is also excellent. Overall, a very nice alternative to the (tired) restaurants in downtown Cooperstown.

The smoked gouda burger is the best burger in or anywhere near Cooperstown, and it hasn't changed! The beers are good too!

Good place to eat ..very near Comfort inn and Holiday Inn hotel. A place to grab a bite to eat before or after Railroad Explorers ride

Great stop for quality casual fare and friendly ambiance. A fresh take on the standard pub fare (steak or bratwurst, anyone?) and a good selection of their own beers andsignature cocktails. Bonus: hand carved beer taps and a beautiful bar top. Highly recommend it.

Here’s a great out of the way stop. We had steak tacos that were some of the best that I’ve ever had and local beer and cider. That was the best.

I had the full beer flight and a bratwurst. Both great. I could have down with just the darker half beer flight as that’s what I thought was better and what I ended up drinking. Service and people there were super nice.

Good beer! Bratwurst and sauerkraut was delish.

Mango beer states like skunky Budweiser; no music, no atmosphere
