We were a party of two for dinner with a very mixed experience. We shared the edamame dumplings, which was excellent. For entrees, one of us (me) ordered the szechuan braised tofu, which was also very good. The server was friendly and attentive. The other entree ordered was a turkey burger with brie and sweet potato fries. However, the burger looked like beef not turkey. The other person in our party does not eat red meat. The server apologized and brought the burger back to the kitchen. She returned with the dish and indicated that the chef said it was turkey. I then tasted the burger. It was clearly beef. We then asked the waiter to replace the burger with turkey. She tried to do that but then the manager came over to our table and was adamant that the burger was turkey. I politely explained that I cook burgers made of different meats, including beef and turkey. I could tell the difference, and the burger was definitely beef. The server took the burger back and asked if there was anything else that could be ordered instead. At this point the experience had been sufficiently frustrating that we said no. The server took the burger off the bill. Despite the efforts by the server and the other dishes we had, we cannot recommend this restaurant, given the attitude of the cooking and management personnel.
Had a late lunch. Nice selection from menu. Beautiful atmosphere and ambience. Server very pleasant. The onion soup and mezze were delicious. Highly recommend. Advise reservations
A terrific dining experience. Service was terrific as was the food. My wife and I both require gluten free dining and the wait staff could not have been more attentive to our needs, making multiple inquiries of the chef to confirm, for example, that the chowder was gluten free (it was). So on point was the waitress that without our raising a question she inquired of the chef about the sweet potato base that accompanied the steak special. She informed us that there was some concern about the base and that the chef recommended a different side (I chose mashed potatoes which were delicious). As one requiring gluten free food and often unable to find bread to accompany a meal or good bread on those occasions when bread is, in fact, available (regrettably a rarity), Hawkeye served a popover-type bread which was truly incredible...the best we have ever had. All told, with thanks, a terrific evening.
Food was delicious, servers were friendly and attentive. generous portions and a lively bar for after dinner drinks.
Great pub at the hotel we were staying at. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Very welcoming space. Lots of great food and beverage choices at reasonable prices.
Beautiful location, we were able to eat outside on October 3! Prices were reasonable for the level of restaurant and service.
Great place to have dinner while having our Ryno Sports team in town after meeting with our contacts at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Definitely will be back on our next visit.
We dined on the patio on a beautiful late September day. The lake was lovely. The food was good but the service was awful. It took a half hour to get our drinks (minus one person's coke which took another 10 minutes) and then the pot of tea one person ordered arrived without a cup. When asked for a cup repeatedly it arrived about 10 minutes later full of coffee. Then one person's entry arrived with the appetizers and another's didn't arrive at all.
Make reservation....
Otherwise have a good time.

The service was disappointing. The manager did not follow through on his promise, and our server was lousy. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve the overall service experience.
