Stopped at the Rusty Bison after checking in our son At Dreams village and it was a great choice! Quick in with no wait even being close to the park, and the homemade bbq sauce on their brisket sandwhich was sooo good! The service was great with quick drinks and food, and very friendly attentive workers!
The staff is fairly rude. They say that families are welcome but they donât have a childrenâs menu. They had a whole dining room open but said we had to split our group between a high top and a low top. Half of the televisions donât work. We were here at 12:30 and were told they donât have ribs yet because itâs too early in the morning. Thatâs tough for a BBQ restaurant. You canât customize meals even for an up charge. There are too many options in Cooperstown to visit this place.

I don't eat somewhere they don't keep the facilities clean. As much care as they put in to that restroom being clean, they will put half that into the kitchen being clean. Food tasted blah, service was slow to get to anything. Which was odd because no one was there except three tables of people. Which was even more odd for a Saturday at 6:30pm. Point is, this place sucks and Cooperstown deserves better....

I have no idea how people are giving this place good reviews. I had the 1/4 ribs which were honestly top 3 worst ribs ever. The McDonaldâs McRib scores higher than what I got here. They were tough and tasteless, the fat was hard a grizzly. No grill marks on them and slathered in the cheapest âbbqâ sauce.
My son had the brisket sandwich which was dripping grease. The meat was tender but entirely tasteless. Even the cheap âhomemade bbqâ sauce was awful!
My wifeâs chicken was decent, she had no complaints. The bathroom floors were sticky and the menâs room smelled like a dirty diaper. The water from the faucet had such a strong sulfur smell I nearly gagged⊠no paper towels to dry and the blower didnât work.
The only good thing about this visit was the waitress was pleasant and on her game with drink refills.
