Had lunch today with a dear friend I haven't seen in 35 years today. She lives in the Albany area and I live in the central NY area so we were looking for a place about halfway to meet for lunch. We found this little Cafe on the internet and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. It was quaint, cozy and very nicely decorated with sunflowers (of course). The food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. We definitely picked the right place to meet and catch up after all these years. I highly recommend the Sunflower Cafe and we will stop by again the next time we are in the area. Thank you for making our 'reunion' so special. ~Trish

We loved the fresh and healthy options at this cute little roadside cafe. The outdoor seating area was nice and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever tasted - I finished what my son couldn’t and I’m not even a big pancake fan.

Love the food , service and outdoor seating. Have to say though, the chairs definitely need cushions. They make us feel too low for the table.

Wow, was just looking for a place to get coffee. But this sweet little spot was quite a surprise. Breakfast Burrito with sweet potatoes was delish. I wanted to try everything, unique menu combinations. Would have taken away something for lunch but it was too early. Definitely a reason to go back.

Just a little place but the only thing better than the food is the staff- both are remarkable. First , the staff is friendly, accommodating and provide great service. It was a Sunday morning and pretty busy when we were there but they made the wait more than tolerable with great coffee and complementary mini muffins. The sunflower décor throughout is charming too, with plenty to look at. Then the food came and well worth the wait- perfect pancakes and a wonderful piece of quiche- truly something for everyone. So if you're a local or just passing through it's well worth the stop. You won't be disappointed!!

We actually stumbled upon this place as a last resort when 2 other places we went to only took cash and the other one was closed, but so glad we did! Upon entering it was very busy and we kind of had to sit at a table in the middle of everything. MULTIPLE people mentioned that it was going to be a long wait and they apologized profusely. We were on vacation, no rush for us! We ordered a couple mimosas and enjoyed our time. I can see why they warned us, I watched a couple patrons get agitated and complain about the wait - they were warned though!!! We had no issues - wait was maybe 45 minutes? Not terrible, we expected worse honestly. The food was delicious! I got the club and piled high with delicious and fresh ingredients. An ideal lunch! My friend and her husband loved the restaurant as well, she bought a mug and brought her parents back on her next visit, and they loved it as well. HIGHLY recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch! They also have a variety of fresh cheeses to buy to go - YUM

What a lovely, charming little cafe! The food was delish. The waiter and waitress were absolutely charming! They had a display cooler filled with artisanal cheeses! We bought some Shropshire Blue and Palatine Extra Sharp Cheddar....Yum! What a find! Highly recommend!
