After reading several positive reviews, I was excited to try the prime rib here with my daughter. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the expectations. I've enjoyed prime rib in many places across the country, but this was, regrettably, the most disappointing I’ve had. My serving appeared as though it had been sitting out for some time…dry and lacking the freshness you'd expect. My daughter asked for hers to be cooked medium well, but it was well done. The au jus was bland. Even salt couldn't bring it to life. We had also ordered a Caesar salad to share, and after a lengthy wait, we asked our waitress about it. I mentioned we didn't want it served alongside our entrées, and she acknowledged that. However, both dishes arrived almost simultaneously, which was frustrating. To be fair, the ambience was pleasant, and our waitress was apologetic and kind throughout, which we appreciated. But unfortunately, the food didn't justify the hype, and based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for its prime rib.

Screwed up my club sandwich ask for no mayo sent it back to kitchen by the time I got it back everyone was almost done eating the brought it back the meat still had mayo on it like they literally just took the stuff off and slapped it on a new bun. The service was honestly terrible felt forgotten took ten mins just to come back for the check.

The ABSOLUTE WORST resturant visit I have EVER EVER had. Server Jessica was the biggest C U Next Tuesday.
Started off fine, but then a table of 20 or so came in sat next to us. Jessica completely forgot about us. We had to stop her to even put in our entree order In. But tables next to us who sat 25min AFTER got round after round after round of drinks and apps. 1hr and 20min later and fairly annoyed we asked about our food. "Let me check on it". As we walked ourselves to find the manager.
We decided to take it all to go as we didn't want to sit anymore. Jessica then mumbled something as she walked away calling us "Assholes" and that's when it went down hill. Thats when I turned and wouldnt ignore her entitled attitude anymore.
Manager was made aware, blonde fat lady wearing a yellow shirt. She could care less but kept saying calm down. Then server Jessica then decided to slam the check onto the table while staring at my Brothers Girlfriend trying either intimidate her or fight her. Until my brother stepped in and told her to back off. Again, manager does nothing (fat blonde lady at the front doors).
That was the icing on the cake. I could sit here and write an in depth detailed book about what happened, but it would bore most of you. After taking the food to go on a $200 check. Made sure Jessica knew she wasn't getting a single cent for a tip, the food was so OVER COOKED and bland for a $36 steak dinner.
Most pathetic experience i have ever had. 2 of us are from out of town and 1 diner was local. Considering we are in the area 10 times a year. You just lost customers and will make sure anyone we know will never go there.
As for the other reviews. The owner likes to say " all these negatives are from the same group of people". Well I wasn't with a grp so don't try to cover this it. Go back and check your cameras to see how much an "asshole" your server Jessica was with her attitude and entitlement.

Food was really good. I had the fish and chips, my wife ordered the shrimp tacos, and we shared the ahi tuna nachos. Everything was so good! The staff was awesome! Everyone had a great attitude which added to the experience. The entire restaurant is full of people enjoying good food, laughing, and having a good time. Well worth the money!

A friend and I were in town for the weekend and looking for a place for dinner. When Upstate Bar and Grill came up between the menu and the reviews we had to go there. We were greeted promptly and seated, our waiter was amazing and all of the staff was attentive and friendly. We both had the Almond Crusted Salmon and it was amazingly delicious. Their French fries are the best I have had. Best of all for me was their Old Fashion. The best Old Fashion I have had was in Salem, MA in 2019. I have been searching for a place that serves an Old Fashion that comes even close to no avail until last night. The Old Fashion at Upstate Bar and Grill was right up there. It was delicious. I highly recommend Upstate Bar and Grill. You will not leave there disappointed.
