A restaurant GEM in Cooperstown! My dad and I stopped here on our Chicagoland road trip, and wow, what a find. I had the Delmonico ribeye and he had the prime rib—both cooked to absolute perfection. The steaks were juicy, flavorful, and just what we needed. We paired them with their “Old-Timer” old fashioneds, which were also spot on. The place was spotless, the vibe was welcoming, and our server Lynn was friendly, funny, and full of helpful local tips (even about the Baseball Hall of Fame crowds!). The manager was just as kind and attentive. Highly recommend to locals and travelers alike.

Upstate Bar and Grill has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. The food was fairly ordinary, but the prices are reasonable, and it’s definitely a spot you can go to anytime. A nice place to spend time with friends.

Wait staff changed the 20% tip I left ($2.40) to $16.80! Check you CC statements.. No printed draft beer menus. The app to view the draft menu sucks. No prices. Domestic cans/bottles were expensive. $7 draft craft beers were served in plastic cups. Applebees vibe. Highish prices. Didn't stay for dinner.
Nice restaurant with good food and great service. We came here for dinner while staying in Cooperstown. Lynn was our waitress and she was so helpful, attentive and nice. Food was good. I had the Cubano sandwich, hubby had the hangover burger, one son had the Pub steak and other son had a pretzel. Lynn said they are used to having baseball teams dine here. Good visit, would come back if in the area.

We visited Upstate Bar and Grill tonight as we were staying outside of Cooperstown for a few days. Glad that the summer baseball hysteria has ended for another year. I had the French dip which was very good. My wife had oysters which she also liked. I wish they had a short beer, so I had to get a pint, and with my usual diet soda meant that I left the beer unfinished. Sad. I liked that they had a rules card at the table that listed what kids should do and not do. A reminder to parents how everyone should act when dinning out. Our waitress, Hallie, was super. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and a smile that never ended. 5 stars for her for sure. I enjoyed dinner. Worth the stop.

Food was great. We visited twice and both nights were busy. First night, server seemed annoyed by our presence but it could have been an off night for her. Food was delicious. Second night, our server was delightful and again, the food was delicious. Amazing burgers!
