Mom and Pop place with a good inventory of snacks and menu of sandwiches and breakfast food. I got ice cream here -- they have a freezer of Blue Bunny and other brands in the back -- and was quite satisfied. Great place to stop after hiking around Mount Washington or Bash-Bish Falls.
It's right in front of the campsite, so it's a perfect place to buy supplies you need while camping.If you need ice or firewood, you can walk from the campsite in 10-15 minutes, and it's perfect for taking a walk while eating an ice cream milkshake.However, the people who work here seem a bit annoyed... We’ve been coming to Taconic State Park regularly for about 10 years. This deli is perfect. Good sandwiches, firewood, beer and a thoughtful supply of camping goods make it incredibly useful. And the people are always warm and smiling.
