“Redefine Meals is a Long Island treasure - Prior to finding redefine, I tried 3 other meal prep services on LI and none came close to delivering flavor, freshness and value like Redefine. I am consistently blown away by the nutritious quality of the protein - real grass fed meats and no seed oils. Since April, I’ve lost 60lbs (3 months) with Redefine as the core of my diet - the labels make it so easy to track macros and calories and the meals are filling. I wouldn’t even consider this as “diet food” (it certainly doesn’t taste like “diet food”) - this food is for everyone, it’s easy to track if you’re trying to monitor calories or macros for purposes of dieting. They offer everything from low carb to keto to high protein balanced meals - depends how clean you want to eat and what your diet entails but all options are on the table. Best of all, this saves me so much money vs ordering out or trying to cook a varied menu for one person each week. It’s a very reasonable cost and saves me so much time.

Some fave meals of mine include the chicken roll ups, buffalo chicken quesadillas (air fryer takes both these dishes to the next level), Nashville hot chicken tacos, mango shrimp tacos, penne ala vodka w grilled chicken … I used to be obsessed with the honey chicken Mac and cheese - hoping that comes back this fall ?

The guys running this company are doing everything right and you can tell there are considerable ongoing efforts to keep improving customer experiences - I follow the social media page and they keep innovating with improvements to dishes or adding new menu items on regular basis. Big kudos to them for creating something special and a valuable service for the community. Also big shout out to my redefine friend - a gentleman who works every Sunday AM in Babylon and rings up my dad and I - he’s always awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable.

We’re lucky to have such an amazing service on Long Island! Stop in and give this place a shot - pick up a meal or 2 and you’ll be hooked!

The one and only suggestion I have is - if possible, I would love to be able to buy prepared veggies in bulk the same way we can buy protein, rice and sweet potato. That would be amazing and great to add onto our meals.

“Upon making the very first visit to the restaurant, I inquired about a few things, such as the ordering process and the availability on particular food items. I tried messaging them via instagram, but the communication was delayed and at times, left unread and unresponsive.

So, I went ahead and gave them a visit right when they opened on saturday afternoon. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, with the exception of one hiccup, in which I’ll explain later in the review. I ordered the brown stew plate, the jerk wrap and a callaloo patty. Everything was delicious!!!!! In addition I requested the cinnamon bun, as it was listed on their menu for the week, but they didn’t offer it. The handsome gentleman who took my order was kind and even shared with me some of his favorites from the menu.

On my second trip to the restaurant, I visited them right when they opened on friday evening. This time, the experience was a tad bit chaotic. Their patties sold out within an hour of opening. Their cinnamon bun was listed as part of the items offered that week, but turned out they actually weren’t offering it. The wait time to receive your order was about an hour long! I’ve never experienced waiting an hour for a takeout order. They definitely could utilize some extra helping hands, as other visitors experienced the same mishaps as well. Besides the takeout experience, I ordered the rasta pasta, the djon djon platter and a spinach patty. Again, the food was delicious!!!!! Despite of the unavailability on certain food items, the long wait time and the unresponsiveness, I would definitely visit again….but I pray that the operation of the restaurant and the communication get’s better as this vegan business THRIVES!!! ✨

“I came across this deli when I was getting my hair cut next door. What drew my attention was the kimbap and the tteokbokki they make. The nice lady makes them fresh every day. I have gotten tteokbokki plenty of times before in restaurants but this one tasted so flavorful and the tteok was the perfect consistency! The kimbap is my favorite and it’s already my second time coming! Highly recommend. 너무 너무 맛있어요!!“
