Sold at our local supermarket which carries many brands of baked goods from the City, LI and New Jersey. This bakery puts out far superior products - the taste and the texture (I like crisp) tells the story.

Imagine a secret crush who you have been friendly with but secretly loved for years. Then, one day, someone puts their hands over your eyes and plants a happy kiss on you, you turn to see that it is your secret love, she loves you too. That's what it's like to eat one of these cookies, it makes you happy. Hands down the best Italian cookies I have ever eaten in my 50 years, the Linzers will make you love humanity, maybe even Trump supporters (well nothing is THAT good but this is as close to perfection as a cookie can get). Even Cookie Monster would wait patiently for fear of being (god forbid) cut off.

Pretty darn good for a commercial cookie. I would have given em 5 stars but the raspberry filling was hard, not from age but the filling they use is hard in texture, could actually make one believe that the cookies were not fresh but that's not the case. Maybe they'll change the recipe some day so for now it's a 4 star cookie platter. Use a better raspberry preserve !!!!!
