I rarely eat fast food, but after getting off work late I stopped at the Wendy’s in Copiague. That decision was a mistake.

My order was completely cold, and when I opened my chicken sandwich I found **green, visibly rotting lettuce** sitting on the chicken. I immediately lost my appetite and could not eat any of it. This is not a minor issue—it’s a basic food safety failure.

There is no excuse for spoiled produce being served to customers. That means either the food is not being checked, or employees do not care enough to stop bad product from going out. Either way, **management is responsible** for the standards in this store and for who is hired and supervised.

After this experience, I looked at other reviews and was disturbed to see many complaints describing the same problems: cold food, poor quality, and lack of care. This shows a pattern, not a one‑time mistake.

Customers should be able to trust that the food they are served is fresh and safe. Until the management of this location takes responsibility and fixes these ongoing issues, I cannot recommend eating here.

I actually wouldn’t feed this food to my dog..

They don’t read the instructions for the mobile orders correctly. I got on that line 3 times. I even checked my app to see if maybe I just ordered it incorrectly? Nope I ordered it correctly. Wendy’s just made it the wrong way twice. By the third time on the line, I’m like just give me the sauce packets I’ll do it myself. Who’s eating a dry sandwich? Also that lettuce you gave me the second time you attempted to fix my order was cold as ICE! :( its so funny because I never stop at this wendys, I just happened to be in the area. I really hate to complain but I at least deserve my order to be correct by the second attempt. That was the worst experience I’ve had at any wendys.If I were going directly home I’d put my own sauce from the fridge on and call it a night, but I wasn’t. Trying to save time by mobile ordering actually took me way longer than if I were to just order in the drive thru. Needless to say I don’t see myself being back at this location for the foreseeable future. (Edit: after looking at all of the 1 star reviews on this location after the fact, I’m feeling like I shouldn’t have ordered from here in the first place! Yall need to get it together!)

Went to Wendy's this afternoon with my 3 young children. And OMG the miscreants middle aged teenagers that came in cursing being very disrespectful to employees. And employees not doing anything about it. Wendys is not a hangout. It's a place to get food eat and leave. They want to hang out they should go to a park. Theses miscreants are starting to take over. Wendys needs to stand up and take a stand. Not let these kids in without parents supervision.

They need to start enforcing these polices like they have done in California. They really need to do something before they start loosing all their customers.

Literally waiting on line rn 4th car behind & don’t hear speaker at all they are making people wait 3-4 mins at the speaker before ordering creating a crazy line terrible service
