We stopped here for coffee and hot chocolate. Everyone was very friendly, but we did find it odd that it was all self service for the coffee and hot chocolates and that the hot chocolate was a packet with hot water.For a cafe, we would have expected something to be made there. But it's a nice space and everyone there was very nice.

I wanted to check this place out cause i’m new to the area, so i took my mom and my sister out for lunch. my mom and i both got the greek salad, which was a bland salad with minimal toppings for like 13 dollars. i asked for mine without onions and tomatoes due to dietary restrictions, and when i got my salad with both onions and tomatoes i brought it back. when i got up to the counter i was met with an accusatory attitude and she was actually convinced that i didn’t order it like that until they found the original ticket (which proved me right). when i got the salad back i got the same exact one with the onions and tomatoes picked off. in my opinion this is very reckless as people with allergies could be in actual danger if this is how they conduct their business. not only that but a woman that i think is the owner (maybe wrong) was loudly complaining about customers which is, again, extremely unprofessional. you can’t serve mediocre food and be a jerk and expect people to come back.Dietary restrictions: they don’t respect dietary restrictions‼️

Prices are a bit high. Paid 20 dollars for a hot sandwich and water. A wonderful place for lunch though. They close a bit early, so check the hours. Their sandwiches are great. I recommend splitting with someone. Love the atmosphere. Very quick service.

Beautiful place and would have recommended except for the extremely poor treatment from the waitress. Almost felt like she was racially biased against my indian hubby who was made to feel bad for not having heard her. Not very inclusive.

This old time ice cream parlor has a lot of others things to offer. You can get a great lunch. The ice cream is perfection and they have delightful seating inside or out right on Market ST
