Parking was a bit difficult to come by on a Saturday night, but the garage out back was free on weekends. The Lamb chops were excellent! Foccacia with olive oil was good, as were the marinated olives. Service was a bit clunky, with dri ks coming out staggered, as well as entrees coming out quickly on top of apps. We both got the shrimp pasta puttanesca which was good, but nothing to write home about. Great selection of whiskey and other spirits, and my after dinner port was great!...
Our Friday evening at The Cellar was culinary perfection. Delicious drinks, tasty appetizers, unique entrees and decadent desserts. Our server was attentive throughout the night and timed the arrival of our courses perfectly. Great atmosphere and a nice place to go if you want to avoid the “noise” of other Market Street establishments. So nice to be able to converse without having to yell to be heard. Very highly recommended.
The Cellar Is one of my favorite restaurants in Corning, New York. We go there probably about 4 to 5 times a year and every time is an amazing experience. My husband and I went there last night for New Year’s Eve dinner and it was absolutely amazing. Lisa W was our waitress and she is so delightful and so kind.
