Treated my girlfriend for her birthday. Hadn't been there before but had passed it and it looked interesting and when I looked up reviews, they were good. Made reservations for 6:30, but they really weren't necessary, plenty of open tables. This was a Thursday night. The restaurant decor/atmosphere is fun. We were seated at a table that had fixed seating like a bench on one side and seats on the other. The bench side sat higher which we thought was funny and we joked that she was queen for a day sitting up a head higher but it was not ideal. The seating was comfortable though. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. My friend had wine I had a dirty martini. The martini was perfect and my friend liked her wine. She ordered the butternut squash bruschetta and I got the tuna tartare with crispy wontons. They did not have the butternut squash and asked if they could sub with beets which was fine. The bruschetta with the beets was a little sweet but delicious and the tuna tartar was very good though served with tortilla chips rather than wontons but the chips were good so not a bad substitute. For dinner I ordered the schnitzel and my friend ordered the shrimp vindaloo. The schnitzel was quite frankly awful as were the spaetzle and red cabbage. All overcooked and dried out. The red cabbage was mushy with very strong clove flavor. I should have sent it back. The shrimp vindaloo was like no vindaloo I ever saw or tasted. It tasted like shrimp with hot curry rather than garam masala and arrived with cut up string beans on top. She said she liked it but she is also polite. The house cab I ordered with my entree was really good. So overall I would try it again but steer clear of the entrees. They have a small plate menu that may be a safer bet, The drinks and service were top notch and the atmosphere/decor is not run of the mill. Worth another shot. Oh and parking is a b...

What a gem! As soon as you step through the door, you feel like you are in for a special experience. The atmosphere is a great combination of classic and nostalgic. The music in the background enhances the physical surroundings. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly and the food is extraordinary! Just not enough adjectives yo describe! Advise reservations, as it is a busy spot.

The food was fantastic & the service was excellent! The ambiance is a little eccentric but reminded me of both of my grandparents (my grandfather who LOVED Frank Sinatra & my grandmother who decorated with a lot of random but welcoming tchotchke) Our bartender was very attentive & super friendly. We had 6 different appetizers & some drinks and everything was delicious - if we weren’t so full, we would have kept ordering more. Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

I have inhabited these halls on many a day off, everything from Juicy steaks and lamb chops to Mexican street corn to fried clams that I have consumed has been of unparalleled quality.....And of course I cannot forget the drinks, some of the cleanest tasting cocktails I have ever had, AND MOST CERTAINLY THE BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI IN NEW YORK!!! A must visit Location for Foodies and Cocktail lovers!

I went here with my girlfriend for dinner and we were both very happy we did. We were quickly greeted by the very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant was clean, spacious with a speak easy asthetic. The host and waitress couldn't have been nicer. We split the cauliflower tempura which was tasty without being overly spicy or saucy. I had the salmon for my entree which was cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious. We tried two different cocktails and they were both so good. We will definitely be returning!

Love the new ambiance. The menu and service since re-opening are par none. So nice to see such a wonderful addition here in Cornwall.
