My 10 year old was insistent we leave an amazing review-both our kids loved their dinners, and for dessert....s’mores right at the table!!! Ashe was our server and was super friendly and accommodating. They are already asking when we can come back :). Even on a busy weekend everything was excellent! Thanks Ashe!

Where do I start.........first off this place isnt bad for being part of a resort. Overall food was ok and the service was meh. I had order a french onion soup and the 12oz NY Strip Steak done medium well with side of Mash potatoes and some veggies. When it comes to the service of this place I got to say some of the people in this place are little slow. We ordered 4 French onion soups and they came out with 3 like an hour later and when asked about thr 4th soup they said they we only ordered 3 when on the bill it clear said we ordered 4. We finally got the 4th soup after 30 mins of reordering it. When it comes to the 12oz NY Strip steak ordered done medium well it came out burnt to the core with no flavor. Most of the steak was all fat, only part of the steak with flavor. Although the steak was burnt to the core it wasn't the worst steak I've ever had. Mash potatoes were great by the way and the other food was good, which us the only reason this place gets 3 stars that and the niceish service. Would I recommend this place if you are staying at the Greek Peak Resort.........yes yes I would, its probably the only good place to get a bite near by.

After traveling all morning we decided to stay in and take a chance at Acorns Grill despite some of the reviews. I’m here to say we had a wonderful experience! Rather than sit in the dining area because it was well passed main lunch hours, we sat at the bar. Nick was absolutely fantastic and we just adored him. He was knowledgeable on the local beer and wine listed on the menu and let us try them. I’m a vegetarian and ordered a Greek salad and tri-blend dip. It was a ton of food and good flavor! My wife ordered the cheese whiz steak sandwich and devoured it. To anyone reading reviews about the restaurant being overpriced, I can firmly say these prices are no higher than a typical restaurant.

Dinner was fun and staff are friendly at the Hope Lodge Acorn Grill. Staff is knowledgeable about ingredients and freshness of food being served and recommendations were spot on!

This is probably one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. If you are staying at this hotel, you are best off using the kitchen in your room to cook your meals. The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, so if you are here for the water park or skiing you have no other food options. The menu for the restaurant is not on the internet anywhere, which I found odd. Now I know why that is after eating the food. The wife had a Reuben, couldn't eat it as the pastrami was so tough and burnt. I ordered the chicken Florentine and it was a weird hodge podge of flavorless food. Side salad and service was great!

We ate at the Acorn Grill a number of times, mostly at the breakfast buffet or continental breakfast, but for dinner as well. The buffet offered a typical variety of breakfast foods, which were freshly made and of decent quality (although, perhaps, a higher or better-covered fruit section might have helped prevent children from handling items that they didn't subsequently put on their plates). The Taco Thursday dinner offered real value for the price, while the Poutine Burger was a very pleasant surprise. The New England clam chowder was better than expected, and was as good as that served in many coastal restaurants. Service at the restaurant was friendly, fast and competent.

Had the breakfast buffet mid priced 14.99 adult, 8.99 child. Good variety, hot and fresh, no waffle maker, good attentive staff.

Understaffed waited at bar for server who was dual hatting it to get me a drink at bar. Waited ten minutes to be told they were out of the beer I wanted, either didn't want to tap a new keg or doesn't know how to our a draft Guinness either way. Waste of my time.
