$120 Tomahawk steak was burnt to a crisp... literally came out black. We returned it and asked for a filet mignon instead... not only was it overcooked as well, it was the size of a deck of cards. $20 Waygu burgers were tiny, thin, and also burnt to hockey puck status. Calamari was basically a plate of rubber bands. Margaritas were 100% liquor... almost impossible to finish... the only reason we did drink them was because they were almost $20 a piece. We had reservations but still waited 30 minutes for our table. It took another 30 minutes to even get our drinks. I understand that restaurants are short staffed. With that being said, the restaurant should have tiered reservations out more than 15 minutes a piece. Our waiter, Nathan was great. I understand it wasn't his fault that he was assigned a party of 50 among 5 other tables... with only 4 other wait staff working. For having reservations, by the time we were served and done, it was over 2 hours. We won't be going back.

Fantastic place! My wife and I went here while at the Greek Oeak resort and we both loved it. I got the Virgil Elk burger which was delicious and not the least bit gamey. My wife got the meatloaf which was moist and full of flavor, as were the mashed potatoes she got on the side. The bacon the meatloaf may have been just slightly overcooked but this didn’t impact how it tasted. Cheese bread and this liquefied garlic butter was served with the meal which was also delicious. The server was attentive and professional. Would definitely come back again. Some of the best food I ever had in Cortland County.Parking: As the restaurant is at a ski resort, parking is shared with the resort. The parking lot was pretty full most of the time, it being a school break.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is upscale but casual dress code. There were a number of families with kids.

Fast service. food was good for the money. Sides were big. Family share portions. I had the porterhouse. Was a little cool, would prefer hotter but cooked perfectly. Wife had scallops. Cooked and seasoned well. Just a little too much balsamic in the salad that they sat on. Overall a very nice experience especially on valentines day. Would go again without hesitation.

Service was awful & slow. Another table was upset as well. Food took forever then Salmon was hard as rock. It was a birthday dinner my daughter will never forget and not in a good way.

Great food and server. I brought children, and they were taken care of. The server understood their needs and impatience. They got their food before we did, which is what we wanted.

The tomahawk steaks are amazing, our group split it amongst the table. Staff every time has been top tier and accommodating. The remodel of the restaurant space came out great.Ended up using Carver's for my wedding dinner, they sat down with us to plan an amazing custom tailored dinner in the back of the main lodge, everything turned out great.

I didn't eat here. My review comes from my disdain for Bidenomics and resorts taking advantage of their customers with resort pricing while often providing inferior service. I stopped in for a beer during the football game. A drought beer should not be $8 before tip. Especially not what appeared to be a 10-12 oz serving. It's disgusting. My family is not poor by any means, but this kind of gouging ruins what is supposed to be a great family experience.

2nd time here, and this time was not so great. Quality of main entrees was between poor to average. Salmon was dry and overcooked. Shrimp was bland and uninteresting. Service was ok but not great. I expect a lot more for a place marketed this way and taking a 1/2 hr drive to arrive.

Carvers was fantastic as always. However, I'm annoyed that this app said the place was full and only offered 4:30 dinner time. Sitting in the restaurant- I saw many tables available at various times... what's the reason ?

First time trying this restaurant. Atmosphere was great, loved the decor and style of the place. The food and drinks were good, but I must say at this price point, I was expecting a larger drink menu and slightly better food. To be clear, I would go back. Great setting, good service. This place has the potential to be amazing; would like to see it get there.

Amazing visit, food was exceptional, Location is beautiful, romantic, service 5 stars and my hat goes off to the chef. But my server, Chyriann, she went above and beyond for us. She had excellent taste in recommendations and prompt, professional, with a sweet welcoming side. I recommend this restaurant 200%!

Food was good but service was awful. Nobody came to our table after being seated and my husband finally had to go ask at the host stand. We had been there for about 20 minutes without anyone even coming with water. Not sure if it was a communication issue? There were only 2 other tables dining at the time. Food was tasty, but for the price I would think service would at least be good.

Service was poor, simply water set on table. No ice and we poured our own water. Menu was disappointing. A 33 dollar steak comes with a not so Caesar salad. No bread or anything to go with.
