best tartar sauce I've ever had & best coleslaw I've ever had! definitely recommend! I've never tried the fish bc I'm vegetarian but I'm sure that's good too
Doug's is the quintessential fresh fish place on either north shore Skaneateles Lake or at their Cortland place. Fries and rings are perfection, and the coleslaw is tasty, too. I was shocked at how good my battered shrimp tasted. Very fresh! Desserts look great though I didn't indulge. You'll never leave hungry. Plenty of seating in clean dining rooms. Plenty of staff to make hungry people, full happy people, fast.
Good for more than just fish! Their chicken tenders are amazing and the mac n cheese is ooey gooey delicious. They fries are handcut and taste amazing. They also have an interesting assortment of ice cream sundaes that definitely hit the spot. I will say consistency of the sundaes varies, sometimes you get what you order sometimes you don't. For example the last 5x I've ordered sundaes I did not get what I ordered twice. Still worth it though ive lost out on money bc...
