Wasn’t sure what to expect out of this little hole in the wall spot, but I’m so happy I stopped in! Ordered a combo #2 for $14.99 which included a choice of protein, yellow rice, an empandilla, and a canned soda. My choice for protein ended up being the slow roasted pork and it was delicious! Great service and great portions for the price. Would highly recommend!!

This is a great hidden gem! The atmosphere - decor and music is so uplifting. The food( I got pork) is delicious, and the gentleman who served me is very kind and friendly. I happened upon LaBamba while traveling and will certainly make it a destination!

We had the best meal here and I will definitely return next time I'm in Cortland. Absolutely delicious food- we all had different choices and were blown away. My chicken Mofango was superb- tender, flavourful and a very generous portion. Service was great as well. Thank you!

The food is delicious. Just amazing taste. It's a little pricing but is not that bad.. The taste was so delicious. If you take a bite of their food close your eyes when you're doing it listen to the music at the same time. The people are very kind.
I was traveling for work. I'm uncultured so I couldn't recognize anything beyond rice, the host was kind enough to let me try a bbq sauce that was just said to be a little tangy and sour. I tried some and coughed because to me it was spicy (highlighting my European background). I proceeded to butcher the pronunciation of 5 more things on the menu and ask many questions. The host remained calm, charitable, and allowed me to sample before purchase. I got some boneless wings with special coconut sauce. If you're ever in Cortland go here

We stopped here while on a road trip north. It's an absolutely lovely restaurant. The owner is so kind and has a passion for exposing customers to Puerto Rican food. The place is so clean and decorated really nice. Most importantly the food is DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.

What a gem! If you're in Cortland you should stop by - the food is amazing, the owners are awesome, and the atmosphere is fun. When you're here it feels like you're in the islands, even in the heart of NY.
