Used M&D's Backyard BBQ for my son's fraternity's graduation party this past weekend. They could not have been easier to work with or more accommodating throughout the process. So friendly! Options are fantastic - we chose the pulled pork and marinated chicken meat options and for sides, the potato salad and macaroni salad. It came with rolls and a beautiful (and very delicious!) platter of cookies. Typically, the house would order from a big name BBQ place in Syracuse, but decided to go local this year. GREAT decision - M & D did not disappoint! The food was ready on time and was plentiful, hot, and delicious - everyone was more than satisfied!

Not my first visit and the consistency is on game. Always a friendly staff, easy ordering and great food. They have a wide variety of selections for breakfast and lunch. The sandwich size is decent for the price and very tasty 😋. We purchased three sandwiches and devoured them before I remembered to get at least one shot of one half of a Turkey sandwich..... sorry, I'm usually better at that. Worth a stop. I'll be back.

Best deli in Cortland for sure! I love this place so much. The owner/staff are always friendly. They remember my face and my order! Whenever I’m having a rough workday, I come here. One great sandwich is sometimes all it takes to turn a bad day into a good day. And don’t hesitate to try the specials, they’re typically pretty good!
Have had lunch here multiple times, sandwiches are great, excellent cookies and baked goods as well!

Would be nice if they could follow the worlds most simple directions, asked for literally just Turkey on a sub roll and they put lettuce and tomato on it… if you can’t follow something that simple you absolutely shouldn’t have a job.
