Food was absolutely amazing!! I ordered food for a large party and was astounded by the amount of food we got and how reasonably priced it was. The owners were friendly and professional and the atmosphere inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing BBQ and great people, so much love coming out of that kitchen. I've had everything on the menu multiple times, but if I had to pick ONE thing it would be the ribs-jerk chicken-brisket-beans-collard greens-corn

Every item on their menu is impeccable! One of my favorite places to get lunch or dinner and the staff is wonderful! Would 11/10 recommend!

We order the ribs (full rack). That came with 3 sides and we were given two waters. The cole slaw was excellent. The salad was very fresh. The corn bread muffins were good. The shining star was the smoked mega ribs with their BBQ sauce - mega awesome. We sat out back and they were smoking away more food. My wife and I were so taken by the taste and quality, that we hardly spoke. This is a destination.Kid-friendliness: It's outside dining.

Mamma Lo's Southern style BBQ may be the best kept secret in Great Barrington, but, hopefully, not a secret much longer. They are, hands down, the best southern-style BBQ in the entire Northeast, and are a great addition to the growing restaurant culture in this southern end of Berkshire County. Kathy and I had a half-rack of ribs (plenty for 2!), collard greens (served with bacon!) and corn muffins. This proved a perfect meal to take to Tanglewood. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect and drenched in a tangy, vinegar-y sauce, for which the collard greens were a great complement. You can be sure that a return trip is already being planned. I think a move to a larger space will be needed, soon. There is nothing in the area which even comes close. Prices? Dinner for 2 was well under $50, a bargain in dining. It's worth a drive... from anywhere!

We stopped in today while it was raining outside. We got two lunch specials: Ribs with salad & cornbread and pulled pork with salad and coke slaw! We ate it all! It was excellent and just the right price and right amount for lunch! Momma and the guys that work there are a true delight!

I grew up in the Berkshires and live here again now, but I also spent 26 years in Georgia. Living in the South for so long I got exposed to lots of BBQ from all over the place, and I developed a low tolerance for fake BBQ.Gotta tell ya, Momma Lo is realer than Real Deal Holyfield! There’s something about Southern food that unless you’ve been cooking it your whole life and it’s in your blood, you really can’t fake the good stuff. I’m here to tell you this family is the real thing and their food is top shelf! Thank you, Momma Lo!

The food was good. Pull pork and ribs where tender ?. I've had better greens before. The mac and cheese needed a little more cheese and some salt and pepper, but it was still good ?? ?. Last but not least, the Cole slaw was soooooo good. There is a smoking shack right behind the restaurant that will literally lure you in. Picnic style dining and free 2 hr parking. I'm glad we stopped by.

Not a bad BBQ spot! We were in the GB area for the first time and looking for a quick lunch, good food but nothing pretentious. This place definitely hit the spot. It's no frills takeaway BBQ with a view of their own smoker. The food is served fast as it's been prepared earlier. To be honest I've had better BBQ - the collard greens needed a lot of flavor and were undercooked, the brisket was good but a bit tough, however the pulled pork and mac and cheese were pretty good. It definitely fixed our craving and the BBQ sauce was delicious. The pricing was worth it on the pulled pork combo however they don't give lunch pricing for the brisket so it was pretty expensive, spent almost $50 on the two lunch portions pictured, however this is a tourist area so not shocked.

Brisket was gray, tough, and dry. Bbq tasted like sweet baby rays. Macaroni and cheese was literally over cooked kraft mac and cheese. Do not go here
