I never rate a restaurant based on a holiday visit. They're generally more busy, the staff is hectic, menus are limited, etc. All of this was true on New Year's Eve. Our reserved table was in the bar. Tiny table, tight quarters, very noisy. Our appetizer, fried calamari was the most rubbery I've ever had ( I'm spoiled, born and raised on Arthur Ave ). Our young waiter forgot to bring our wine, we were almost half finished with our entrees when I had to go up to the bar and request 2 glasses of wine. The entrees were fabulous! Duck ravioli and Rack of lamb. The deserts were fabulous but our young waiter forgot to bring our double espressos. The prices were inflated for New Year's but so what, that's the case everywhere, ya gotta make a living, you know. I would definitely go back to this establishment on a regular Saturday night and I would expect a very nice experience.

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. We went on New Year's Eve so it was a little busy but we didn't feel rushed. We had the fried calamari which was nice and tender. The chicken martini and veal with the spinach , prosciutto in a shrimp sauce was very tasty. Little pricey.

We usually love coming here but we didn't have the best experience. As we walked in we waited about 10 minutes for someone to finally greet us and bring us to our table. We also had about 4 different waiters come to our table so our order got messed up 2x. Our chicken was chewy and the presentation was terrible. I am sad to say we got turned off by one of our favorite restaurants

Always a good experience, this was no exception. The staff is attentive and the service was excellent. I always have a hard time choosing from their menu since they have so many dishes that I like! I asked the waiter for help and he was right. I had scallops and they were great, served with crab meat in a light sauce with rice and vegetables. My husband had a dish from their specials, linguini with lobster and seafood.

I actually ended up going 2x there this week. Both times food and service was wonderful, but strangely 1st time, for a noon reservation we were given the regular menu. I didn't want to ask if there was still a lunch menu, since i Was not paying. Our server was Lawrence. Friday same noon reservation , different wait staff but was given and shown the lunch special menu.Did not ordered from that menu but it was a great deal! I had the same thing and it seemed like same size portion but believe was charged dinner price on Tuesday. Will ask next time. And will return it was delicious :)

We had a very nice Sunday dinner in an almost empty room. The food , especially the Linguini Nero, was good. The lobster bisque was tasty, but not a piece of lobster could be found in the bowl!

Primavera continues to look good. The service is helpful and prompt. But, unfortunately, the food quality has deteriorated. On several recent visits, the whole fish was burnt, overcooked, possibly microwaved, judging from its excessive temperature as tabled, even though I had this time earlier mentioned my concerns to the waiter. The table service was spotty, with breadsticks present on only some tables. The once usual small plates of olives and cheese are now only for sale. Once my local favorite, I'm afraid Primavera is going downhill.

We come here a few times a year with my Mother-in-law. Food is good (a little pricey) and its not too loud. Everyone is always very friendly.

I had the jumbo shrimp scampi with risotto and my husband had the chicken piedmonte. Mine was very good and my husband liked his. For dessert I had the hot champagne zabaglione which was tasty. The other members of our group got various pasta dishes which they enjoyed.

My wife and I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The food and service are excellent. We can also usually get a reservation without a problem as the place has ample room. We were also here recently with a group of 9. Everyone was well pleased. We highly recommend this place.

PLEASE BEWARE!! I just got very bad food poisoning from eating here tonight. I have been here several times but tonight the food and even service was not what it has been in the past. Will never eat here again unfortunately.

They are very accommodating to give you exactly what you want. The service is amazing! There was a constant stream of servers and busboys who came up to the table and making sure we had everything we needed. It was a busy Saturday night, and our food came out timely and perfectly hot. We lingered over coffee and desert and never felt we needed to leave. Although a bit pricier for the local restaurants would charge, the food is well worth the cost along with the excellent service. Do not hesitate to go for a lovely meal, well worth it.
