My partner and I needed to kill some time before the pumpkin Blaze event. We wandered into this bar and at first it felt like it was a locals-only kind of joint.
Quickly thereafter we were chatting it up with other patrons, and the owner, Tracy, who was the most welcoming and friendliest chap.
The selection of ciders was small but nice, and the homemade pizza was unexpectedly excellent. A genuine hand crafted pizza, made with care, not a 1-ton professional kitchen-aid. I assume the beer is good, we're just not beer-drinkers.
An excellent and friendly place to hang out and kill time. We will make the trip out on the amtrak/mta the next time we're in NYC.

Pizza vendor ran out of food before 530 so went to another place to eat. Came back for a drink and the place was closed and tables were moved in side by 630. Supposed to be open until 7. Huge disappointment.

Really nice owner and staff, my only wish is that 1) they had sn online beer list so you knew what was on tp so you could decide when to go, 2)that they allowed dogs inside. Otherwise the place is a gem!

Perfect stop after a day at the Croton Gorge Park. They have about 10 beers on tap, plus wine and cocktails. They also have pizza but we didn’t think much of it until it came out. It looked so good and we ordered one too. The crust had nicely charred leopard spots and still fluffy in the middle. The tomato sauce was well-balanced. I wished they put more basil on it tho. Overall, an excellent experience and we’d be back if we’re in the area!

Amazing little bar in “downtown”. Pizza is a delight. Beer is delicious. Music is delightful.
Fantastic people. Perfect bar in a perfect spot. Beer and wine selection is absolutely stellar.
Love this place !
I came here after reading a recommendation on Reddit - HOLY COW! Hands down amazing place! Such a hole in the wall, I have passed this place and not realized what a DIAMOND 💎 I was passing. Amazing options, the best pizza, and the coolest vibe around!

Come for the perfect selection of beer and delicious Neapolitan-style pizza… Stay for the incredible conversation. The owner, Tracy, is passionate about this business and cares so much about both his customers and community. 10/10!
The Croton Tap Smith Bar in Croton-on-Hudson is a gem! The owners are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home in the neighborhood. They have an amazing selection of beers, and their homemade pizzas are a must-try. A great spot with a friendly vibe—definitely a place worth visiting!”
My favorite place in Croton for awesome rotting beers on tap. Plus the pizza on Sundays is delicious!

Is there 6 stars, what a cool little place we went for a ride and saw this little bar.
No, they are not a brewery not sure why google said that but don’t let that stop you. They have a ton of great beer and ciders. The owner and his wife are lovely. The fresh pizza is amazing. Cool little place. definitely stop in sidenote, they have one of the oldest dummy traffic lights in Americas across the street.
