Possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Read my other reviews if you like—I don’t do this often. Full story below if you’re interested.
My wife and I made a reservation for 5:45, noting that we’d need two high chairs for our very young kids. We usually bring a portable booster just in case but left it in the car after being told high chairs wouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs. Just so you’re aware, downstairs is a completely different vibe—less restaurant, more take-out place—not a huge deal, but worth noting.
At the table, the hostess said she’d have someone bring high chairs. A few minutes later a server dropped menus, and we asked again. He said he’d grab them. Then a third server came by and asked if we needed high chairs. We said yes, again. After about five minutes of holding our kids, we were brought one booster and one high chair. Not ideal, but forgivable.
About five minutes later, a server asked if we wanted drinks or an appetizer. We ordered a seltzer, a simple mixed drink, and water for our son. Ten minutes after that, we were asked again—by someone else—if we wanted appetizers. We declined, but asked about our drinks. They were “on the way.” Another ten minutes passed. The original server came by again, asking if “everything was ok”. We said we were ready to order, and again asked about the drinks. He assured us they were coming—then walked away without taking our order. He did rush to the computer, and I suspect that’s when he actually put our drinks in. Just a suspicion.
After thirty minutes of sitting, being shuffled around, and never receiving a single drink or placing a food order, we dropped twenty dollars on the table to cover the bread and the drinks we never got, and left. My wife told me afterward that the plate at our son’s setting was dirty, as were our water glasses.
To whoever runs this place: when families with young kids are seated, there’s a timer that starts immediately. There’s a limited window of time that kids will tolerate being constrained in a high chair. Beyond that, and more importantly, we simply didn’t feel welcome or comfortable at any point during the visit. That kind of atmosphere is a poison, and it makes a return visit very unlikely.
We went to the Firehouse Grill afterward. One server, full house, and he kept my beers coming as fast as I could drink them, cleansing my palate of the unpleasantry that was Franco Martini.

Unique Pizza/Bar/Italian restaurant. This Trifecta makes Franco a unique place to dine in or out. The employees are all top notch and very memorable. One of the reasons I always come back..variety of food to try and weekend have happy hour as well as music upstairs. Def a must if you're in the Croton-Harmon area. Worth the drive.

Went for a cocktail on Wednesday around 4:30. The bar was closed for an event. They want to know why they get nobody for cocktail hour. This is why. They also do not have cocktail hour on Saturday or Sunday. How do you expect to get a following when they never know when you are serving. It has potential, but too many reasons why not to go.

The salad was good my chicken parm was decent. The mussels smelled horrible didn’t eat them all. My son’s meatball parm wedge was disappointing. Wherever they get there meatballs from they should stop. It was more like a bread ball. The waitress Amanda was Fabulous but She was all by herself trying to tend bar and wait tables. Shame on the owner for doing that to Her. There was no bus boy or cleanup person they left everything up to one person. I am uncomfortable leaving such a bad review but it was not a place that I will come back to. Great job Amanda but management stinks.

Iliana and her staff went above and beyond for our Retirement Reception. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Can’t wait to host our next event with them!!!!
We celebrated our daughter’s first communion, and the entire experience was outstanding. The service was impeccable, and every detail was handled with care and precision. Iliana was amazing—she listened closely to everything we discussed beforehand and made sure it all came together exactly as we envisioned. On the day of the celebration, the owner, Tony, was personally present and supervised everything to ensure it ran smoothly. Their dedication, professionalism, and warmth made the day truly special. We highly recommend this place for small gatherings and special occasions—you’ll be in great hands!
