My husband and I have been here many times for special occasions. Tonight was our anniversary, and to be honest, we should have ordered a pizza and stayed in. The server was personable, but it ends there. Portions were unexpectedly small. I ordered a dozen oysters that were so small, I could barely find them in their shells. There was one server in particular, that appeared to be proctoring an exam, as there were only 5 tables occupied, and I am not sure what she was hoping to discover. We felt very rushed...at one point another server popped by to ask if my husband was finished. He still had food on his plate, and was actively eating it! So....in conclusion, if you aren't very hungry and have $150 to burn, then this might be the place for you. Cheers!

Food is very good, but the portions are way too small, especially when considering the high prices. Honestly, for the price, the portion was half the size i would have expected.

Consistently delicious food and terrific service! I've been here may times over the years, and never have I been disappointed. The owners have added on to include outdoor seating and a liquor license! They have a nice wine list though I can't comment on other offerings. The dining room is small and can be a bit noisy. Reservations are strongly encouraged and leave time to find parking on the street.

If you are a foodie, stay away! Unseasoned, uninteresting food for high prices ($35-38 entrees). And atmosphere…this place is literally a double-wide mobile home overlooking a busy highway (no joke). No water view, fake ivy strung on the patio, you get the idea. The server was very nice, but I felt bad for this place. If you’re staying in town, travel 20-25 minutes north and eat in Cold Spring.

Its been a while since I've been here. It was a wonderful past experience and today's experience was just as grand. From making the reservation, to the service, to the food, everything was just exceptional.Parking: Easy close-by street parking.

Perfect grilled octopus. Always a good sign of a chef who knows what he's doing. Succulent rainbow trout with shrimp stuffing harico verts and steamed spinach, delectable, and perfect bread pudding.. My companions were also delighted with their choices. All together an exceptional meal in comfortable surroundings with wonderful staff efficient and caring. Can't wait to go back.

Happen to pass by and decided to turn around and stop in. Glad we did. I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in. It gives me Massachusetts and New Hampshire vibes! Nice and relaxing. I ordered the Salmon and crab topping, Asparagus and roasted potatoes. Glass of Pinot Grigio and a slice of Key Lime Pie. All were delicious! My friend ordered the Crab Mac and Cheese. It was delicious! Would order everything again!

One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent food. Good prices. Nice atmosphere. Well worth it.

A really lovely spot, even if there aren’t any ocean views! Some of the friendliest service we’ve ever experienced. They took the time to get to know every dog and child in the restaurant and found the perfect balance of attentive without being at all overbearing. They also seemed to know almost everyone there, which just added to the overall vibe of the small restaurant. The PEI oysters were good, but not outstanding, and possibly the most marked up item on the menu. The mussels were great. My husband loved his Mac and cheese. And the steelhead trout was really tasty, albeit a little salty. If we could walk, we’d probably be there once a week! As it is, I’m confident we’ll be back. Prices are also among some of the best we’ve seen for Westchester restaurants.

Loved the oysters and everything else. They ran out of some dishes so you may want to go early.

We've had lovely meals here. The mussels are especially good. As are the Oysters Rockefeller.

We've lived near this place for many years but never tried it until tonight, for my husband's birthday dinner. Really glad we finally did. Called right at 4:30 and got a very friendly reception. Table for 2 at 5pm, no problem. We sat inside because it was too hot outside, and as other reviewers have said, the acoustics inside are not great. There were only three other parties seated, spread out from each other, and everyone talked at a respectful volume, but it was still hard at times to carry on our conversation. We ordered the grilled calamari, which smelled amazing when it was brought to our table and was nice and hot. Perfect because my husband always removes the breading from fried calamari. It was absolutely delicious and a nice size portion for an appetizer. Great start. We also offered wine off the evening specials - he had Cabernet and I had the rosé. Both very good. We tend to share food, so we decided to order both roasted cods - the one on the regular menu and the one from the daily specials. They were both outstanding - really flavorful, nice presentation, hot. We both favored the one from the regular menu, as there was more "going on" in the dish; a yummy broth with beans, tomatoes, string beans, and a grain. But honestly, both were really great. Friendly, attentive but not overly attentive staff, great service, and delicious food. We will definitely be back.
