Stopped on way across the state from just outside to NYC to visit my mom who lives as west as you can go. Such a surprise. Lovely restaurant. Calm tasteful decor and atmosphere. Charming owner. Kind server. Great dinner and mocktail. Highly recommend

An excellent dinner from the cocktails to the dessert. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the smashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were tasty. The autumn apple salad was also great. The service and timing was top notch. Highly recommend if you are in the Cuba, New York area.

The fish fry was amazing! It came with home made coleslaw which was really good. We also tried the French onion soup, which was the best one I've had in a long time!! For dessert we got the lemon cheesecake and it was amazing!

My husband and I had a wonderful date night dinner here last Friday. This option is now my new favorite restaurant in the area. (We’re from neighboring Olean.) The chicken masala and rib eye dinner were excellent and so were the creative menu, decor, service, sound system and playlist!
In fact, was so good that I am going back for more this Friday to introduce a friend for her first experience. (And I rarely eat out!). I hope these young people do well and become a long-time local option.

Excellent choice for dinner! Kayla the owner will take great care of you. My wife and I had dinner - she had a glass of Cabernet and I had raspberry iced tea - good. I ordered the chicken Francesco and she ordered the pistachio salmon. My chicken was moist and lightly breaded with garlic mashed potatoes and really flavorful cauliflower roasted. The salmon was also delicious, on a bed of saffron rice with carrots, and a side of fresh broccolini. I definitely would go back. It's located on Main Street in Cuba NY just off the i86 exit. They opened April 19th this year and are doing well. You will love it!

Value for money, it's hard to beat The Radix. It's a pretty shop, with a limited menu, well executed. There's a little shimmer of courage in the kitchen you can see in the onion jam and in the goat cheese croquettes. Good place for a date.
Best restaurant in Cuba, NY… would it be risky if I said best restaurant in the whole county ??? The staff is incredibly friendly and inviting; they truly treat you like family. The food is excellent, especially The Radix Burger and the Caesar salad. I crave them often !!! The restaurant itself is a moody, elegant, classy place and very clean. The owners seem to take pride in a clean atmosphere and environment, which you don’t see very often in establishments. I look forward to coming again.

We found our new date night spot! We had a delicious meal and excellent cocktails. I had the lavender 75, hubby had a rum, amaretto and cinnamon concoction, both were lovely. My pistachio crusted salmon was succulent and even the broccolini was outstanding! Also exceptional service. Highly recommend!
