Prompt friendly service from the server with a smile. Steak and cheese with fries came out promptly and hot. Food was typical of what you would expect of a diner or family restaurant, Good. Pricing was reasonable, good value for the price.

I have gone to sunrise many times but never have I been treated as poorly as I was tonight. Our waitress Kelsey was completely rude to us. It started because we asked a simple question about what the difference was between the chicken park on special and the one in the menu as the special was $3 more. This sent her over the edge apparently. She was very short with us about taking our order and when she brought our food out she put it in the middle of the table and left. It only went down hill from there. We attempted to get her attention as she hadn’t come over to check on us and we need more to drink. She snapped at us to wait and stuck her hand out at us to tell us to stop speaking to her. She came over looked at our drinks never said a word to us and left. She came back and slammed our drinks on the table and walked away. She never came to check on us or ask how it was. She came back asked if we wanted dessert and when we said no she put the check on the table and walked away. Never asked if we wanted a box for our food nothing. Then I had the pleasure of dealing with her at the register.she was very pleasant and making small talk with other customers but when I came up she said the told grabbed my card and that was it. Couldn’t speak to a manager about the issue because there wasn’t one there. I have never been treated this way anywhere. This is totally unacceptable. Normally I do not post reviews because everyone has a bad day but this clearly was not the case for Kelsey. She just wanted to be nasty to us for asking a simple question. I truly hope something is done about this. I would love to speak to anyone in management about what occurred.

I am a cook professionally, and very rarely get to go out and eat at other restaurants. I also have noticed ever since covid I have had bad meals at restaurants, Like food not tasting good or lacking any flavor, and leaving upset spending $100 on crappy food. I was VERY happy with my chicken broccoli Alfredo! Alot of food also for people who like left-overs. THE PEANUT BUTTER PIE THOUGH WAS AMAZING! As a fellow professional cook at cornell. 11/10 my first time going and gonna be a regular anytime I'm near Danville!

Place is on the older side. Caters to the older crowds for sure. Service was very friendly, just a bit slow though. Food was decent- nothing to fully complain about- super large portions. Their knock off jelly packets (the one that isn’t smuckers) was super gross. Don’t try it.
Really great classic diner food served quickly and nice and hot. Wait, staff is attentive without being overbearing, and they ensure that your drink is refilled as needed. Choices on the menu are plentiful and diverse and really great side dishes. I always try to stop here whenever i'm headed over to the medical center in town. My only complaint is no Coke only Pepsi, but they're unsweetened ice tea with lemon it's excellent. Highly recommend the hot meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy! A+++

The service was good but the bathroom was stinky filthy covered in urine and unbelievably disgusting and for some stupid reason I ordered biscuits and gravy and it was disgusting just disgusting the entire place pretty much turned my stomach except for the service The waitresses friendly the end
