Thought we'd be waiting forever but it wasn't too bad, place was packed!! I tried the potatoe chip fish fry and my husband had the beer battered. It was HUGE!! And thick and firm..absolutely perfect. Price with the salad soup bar is such a deal. Definitely will be back, oh and the drinks were STRONG, zero messing around at this place lol

Absolutely LOVED our dinner! The waitress was amazing, friendly, on top of it. The food is all homemade there, and you can tell. They warn that the wait may be longer as a result, but it wasn't any longer than anywhere I've ever been. The quality of food was incredible, the quantity you get is huge, and the price you pay hardly hurt! We had three entrees, and appetizer and bar drink, all for less than $55. The menu had soooo many options too, and is sure to satisfy just about any picky eaters craving! I was blown away with my experience and have already decided this will be our go-to place from now on!!!! The atmosphere was perfect. You can sit in the bar if you're up for the party, you can sit in the bar/restaurant section if you still want the liveliness without the bar feel, or you can sit in the restaurant section which is totally family/kid friendly. Highly suggest to everyone!

This place is always busy and we decided to stop in. The ambiance was a rustic pub style and the menu was American. Everyone ordered something different and while It was good it was cold. It seemed like the food was sitting around before it was delivered to our table. There is also a disclaimer on the menu is that says it's going to take along time since the food is made to order

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for along time. We finally made it and the food was very underwhelming. The menu said everything is homemade so expect to wait which would be fine if the food was worth it. It sadly was not. The french fries are fresh cut but where dry and lukewarm if that. The Ruben looked delicious homemade saurkraut and all but it had no flavor. The wings were over cooked and very little sauce. The coleslaw was not good. Chicken finger salad was mostly iceberg lettuce and the salad dressing was 2 packets of Ken's salad dressing...thought everything was homemade. Really wanted to like this place as every time we go by it looks packed, but our party of 6 as a whole was disappointed.

Absolutely the best restaurant that I have been to in a long time. My boyfriend had the fish dinner and he absolutely loved it and said the next day he it was even better! I had the roast beef sandwich with gravy which homemade taste!!! Service was good and quick. But get there early before dinner because they fill up quickly. Thank so much for the Great food and host!Parking: A little tight especially during dinner.

I have gone to this place a couple times in the past few years when I bring the family to Darien lake.i had to come on here and say I have never had a bad experience at this place in fact the owners are very friendly people go around and ask how things were.always very polite and now every time we take the family to Darien lake I like to try and make time to go there for dinner.if I'm in the area ever that would be my go to place to eat

We got there around 4:30 and had to wait for the rest of our party for about half hour , forty five minutes. She brought our drinks and forgot about us. We ordered an appetizer. The rest of our party arrived and it took 30 minutes to get our waitresses attention. When she came for their drink orders we all just ordered our dinner. Didn't know when we would see her again. We moved inside because my elderly parents were getting cold and the one man band was warming up and was right there side of our table. Some of the orders were missing things. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to wait for a reorder. We were there over 3 hours. Service was extremely slow.
