Absolutely amazing experience overall. The owners are very gracious hosts, as well as their dog, Cuddles. The in-room breakfast is fantastic! The property is beautiful and fully secluded from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I cannot recommend this place enough, and certainly plan to return at every opportunity.

We happened upon this place purely by accident and what a great accident!! This was the greatest place we’ve ever stayed! Breakfast was absolutely amazing, hot and super tasty and filling! Cuddles, the dog, was an added plus! The room was perfect and so clean! We felt right at home! We cannot recommend staying here enough….and we cannot wait to go back!!

My wife and I stayed for a night here and the entire stay was nothing short of perfect. Its very secluded and peaceful. It is a nice little getaway from normal busy life. Carolyn is a wonderful host. She greeted us at the front desk and answered any questions we had about our stay. We had dinner included with our reservation and all of the food was excellent. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Carolyn was so accommodating to us when we booked the wrong date, she happily changed it for us! A special shout-out to Cuddles(Dog), who gave us endless love, affection and cuddles! Also a great place to stay if you would like to travel to Six Flags Darien Lake. I would highly recommend to stay here if you are in the area!

What a diamond in the rough. I travel for work and there’s really not much in the way of hotels out in the area of Alden, New York. I happened upon River Spring Lodge and it will now be my go to when I’m in the area. Quiet, very nice. Great food great service all around awesome spot.

Best little quick couple days away ever. Owners are amazing. So nice and sweet. The food was amazing. The fully sticked catch and release large mouth bass pond was awesome. So much fun. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. We are Definitely coming here again. And their dog cuddles was so sweet.

We stayed for two nights as part of a trip to visit Six Flags Darien Lake. This place is a must visit! The property is cozy and secluded. The rooms are extremely nice. The hosts are super friendly and breakfast and coffee are brought to your room each morning. We also loved meeting the resident puppy! This is an absolute must visit where you just need a peaceful stay or want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a stay at this lodge for a church retreat. From the beginning to the end wonderful experience. We were greeted when we first arrived. The place was emulate cleaned. Our room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable bed, i was so happy i had not only a walk in shower but also a tub that was tastefully done. Oh and the food was so so good . The chef and his wife are amazing. The hospitality was 5 stars, food 5 stars. When I say this place is the BEST simply the best. If you want to go on a vacation and have a sweet welcome touch home experience please please try this place out I guarantee you will want to come back sooner than later. This will be my #1 go to for my getaways to be refreshed. From food, to the good ambience, to excellent quality service I give this place on scale from 1 to 10 beyond a 30+ lol I love it here. Definitely will be back

My husband and I stayed for a night in October 2024 in the Evergreen room. The property is beautiful and quiet. The customer service is wonderful. It has a full service bed and breakfast vibe. The food was delicious and it was so relaxing! We definitely recommend!

We recently (8/24) had the wonderful opportunity to stay at River Spring Lodge. Carolyn was an amazing hostess and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Cuddles, their dog was so friendly and well behaved. The setting is quiet and serene. Breakfasts were amazing and brought promptly to our door each morning. We highly recommend the River Spring Lodge and look forward to visiting again.
Rooms: A comfortable King Bed, couch, desk with leather chair and table with 2 chairs were in the room we stayed in, along with TV and air conditioning. The wood floors are beautiful. The bathroom was also beautiful and well appointed with 2 sinks, tub and separate tile shower. The juliette balcony overlooks the scenic grounds.

My room was so comfortable, the food was amazing and the property was great to wander around and sit down near the water. I met another couple who travel a lot and it was their 1st time visiting.
