My husband and I stayed for a night in October 2024 in the Evergreen room. The property is beautiful and quiet. The customer service is wonderful. It has a full service bed and breakfast vibe. The food was delicious and it was so relaxing! We definitely recommend!

We recently (8/24) had the wonderful opportunity to stay at River Spring Lodge. Carolyn was an amazing hostess and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Cuddles, their dog was so friendly and well behaved. The setting is quiet and serene. Breakfasts were amazing and brought promptly to our door each morning. We highly recommend the River Spring Lodge and look forward to visiting again.
Rooms: A comfortable King Bed, couch, desk with leather chair and table with 2 chairs were in the room we stayed in, along with TV and air conditioning. The wood floors are beautiful. The bathroom was also beautiful and well appointed with 2 sinks, tub and separate tile shower. The juliette balcony overlooks the scenic grounds.

I loved staying here and thought it was such a unique place. Owners are very warm and welcoming, their dog was super sweet. My room was so comfortable, the food was amazing and the property was great to wander around and sit down near the water. I met another couple who travel a lot and it was their 1st time visiting. We were all impressed. I would go again if ever in the area.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and it never gets old. Always greeted and accommodated. Best place with a fantastic view of a pond, quiet and plenty of parking. Food presentation and taste is amazing and delicious. Highly recommend anyone who needs some rest and relaxation from busy life. Rooms are always clean and spacious. Would suggest to anyone 2 or more days for the best experience.

This was an excellent experience of calm, peaceful, quiet, comfort and very enjoyable cuisine. The room was very roomy and welcoming. The bathroom mirrored the room. My husband and I spent last weekend at River Spring Lodge with David’s Refuge. The entire experience was excellent! The room was clean, spacious, well decorated, cozy. We had dinner in our room. Chef Dave prepared a delicious meal in room and breakfast was outstanding. Carolyn was kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful. We especially loved Cuddles the dog! We would come back in a heartbeat!
We couldn't have created a better stay! So friendly when making the reservation. Upon arriving, we were just blown away by their humble kindness, the cleanliness of the whole property, and how comfortable the bedding and furniture was. Now let's talk about the food....Chef David delivered perfection on a plate every day! And, Miss Carolyn delivered it right to our door! We needed assistance with our remote( our fault) and Carolyn was right there to help us. To top it all off...there was no pet fee! Our pups had their own concierge, Cuddles. It was quite the highlight of their day to be greeted by Cuddles and enjoy some tail wagging good times. So, here are our suggestions...order dinner on your arrival day! It was nice to arrive, get unpacked, walk the dogs around the pond, and have dinner delivered. Our only mistake was only ordering the dinner for one night. Do yourself a favor...make the reservation...add the dinner(s)...now relax because Carolyn, David, and Cuddles will take care of the rest. Can't wait to go back!

What can I say thar hasn't already been said really? This quaint lodge is an absolute pleasure to visit for a busy couple....especially when you opt in for the coursed dinner option. My wife and I have probably been here 10-12 times now....and it never gets old. The hosts are amazing, friendly, and very accommodating. As is their doggo, "Cuddles". We highly recommend "The Red Maple" room. Every single dish I've had here is amazing...but for personal suggestions for the dinner, bruschetta for the app...Angus strip for the main, CREAMED CORN to die for. Creme Brule with fruit medley or the white chocolate bread pudding for desert. Breakfast is slammin too! We'll be back every chance we get!Rooms: Extraordinarily clean and well appointed. The heated tile in the bathroom is great!Food & drinks: You can't go wrong with any choice. Everything is fantastic
