Anything with the peanut butter icing is delicious! They were also wonderful to work with for a custom order and quickly responsive.
Echoing what another has said, no one was there when I came in. There was an uninspiring salad bar. Most bakery items were things like cookies and brownies smothered in frostings, things which my kids prefer and which I can make at home. Our area really needs a bakery that makes the more difficult items which we are unlikely to make at home. Croissants, cream puffs, etc. Anyone who has visited a French bakeries in cities knows what I’m talking about. Even a few items like that would be nice. Hearing that their donuts are shipped in from elsewhere concerns me. Do they make it themselves someplace else (and refrigerate them en route, I hope?) or are they frozen and dethawed?

It is a lovely local place to grab a snack and coffee. Stopped there in January with my daughter, it was a great treat after our "girls about town" outing. Raspberry turnovers were excelent and we grabbed chocolate chip cookies to bring home, those were amazing according to my loved ones. Coffee could use upgrading but provided that this is a bakery and not a coffee shop, no stars taken, in fact it was a nice touch to have with your desert if you aren't a coffee snob. This place is a kid friendly local gem, right downtown and has a toy kitchenette with food items for kids to play. Will definitely go again.
Kid-friendliness: Bakery toys and kitchenette in a bakery - my kid was delighted.

Visited today and I have to take a moment to say. WOW! Very clean, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Along with the most friendly staff. Its not often you find someone who greets every guess as if their her favorite customer. I didnt caught your name. But your doing an awesome job keep up the good work we could use more employees like you.
After reading recent reviews ( both negative and positive) I had to check this place out for myself. I have now gone 3 times and every time was wonderful. The first time was to check out the taco bar (that someone complained about) but to my surprise this taco bar was well setup with choices a plenty and tasted amazing, honestly I will happily pay the $13.50 for the amount you can get! The second time I went I tried the coffee (also got hate on the reviews) and a couple of sweet treats. I'm my opinion they had plenty of coffee options as their not advised as a coffee shop and the treats where out of this world delicious. The third time I was meeting a friend there and just like the other times we were greeted with a warm and friendly hello. When asking questions about different treat options the employee was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions with kindness and a smile. I want to end my long review by saying there's not alot of places in this day and age you will find a happy employee that seems to love her job and takes pride in her work. She was very busy with stuff in the back and caring for customers that came into with a smile and a sense of calm the whole time. I will be back many times over and to all that are reading this please take the time to visit this shop and show these ladies the love and appreciation they deserve.
Parking: Front paid parking and there's a lot in the back as well
Kid-friendliness: They have a small corner play section .
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide front door and alot of room for wheelchairs / walkers inside as well.

I am reluctant to review this local business because I did not have a good experience and I want to support local business. We were excited to have found this bakery especially so when we heard there was a lunch menu. The first red flag was that there were no sandwiches except for an hours old breakfast sandwich. The lunch for the day was a “taco bar” - in a bakery?? That was the second red flag. We should have turned around but the raspberry turnovers were enticing. The menu board was out of date - seasonal beverages that were not available were still listed. It was slightly after 12 when we arrived and it was empty and continued to be so. We were told that the taco bar was “all you can eat” to explain the cost ($13.50) - the soft tortillas were cold as were much of the “toppings. There were only 2 soft tortillas and never replenished and the sole server was nowhere in sight. The taco was tasteless.Drink options were limited to old coffee, bottled tea or water and a soda I think. Here is my advice: forget the taco bar. Create a sandwich of the day with some great bread. Maybe a kettle of soup in the winter? After the morning rush (if there is one), make coffee on demand when the next person asks for it. I would wait for a fresh pot!Not sure what is keeping this place open (students maybe? But the semester had just ended…)Maybe shorten the hours when the students leave and just take “orders” for bakery items for the holidays - add Christmas cookies to the roster!I would like this place to succeed as the turnovers were delicious which is why I gave 3 stars instead of none.If something extra is needed, why not host an english tea once a month? There is the table space for it and would be a hit!I am rooting for you! I will be back for more turnovers.

I have enjoyed every delicious treat that I have tried, but the thumbprint cookies are the very best! Everyone loves them, they are always popular wherever I bring them. I highly recommended!
When asked what ingredients were in their donuts, the employee said she didn't know, as the donuts were shipped in from elsewhere. As someone with food allergies, I understand that not every location will cater to my needs, but the fact that they don't even know what's in their own product really irks me.

Amazing food and the owners kinda cute
Awesome place for a quick lunch and the baked goods are soooo good! You have to try the pumpkin cupcake w/cinnamon frosting and the new "french fry" cookies!
