The crowd was extremely friendly and so was the staff. We found the baker again. Ralph makes the best bagels in Deer Park their prices are phenomenal and they don't try to rip you off all these other Baker bagel places in Deer Park are ridiculous. They should be shut down ...Parking: No problemKid-friendliness: The prices were good for all ages and the environment was very inviting I said in the parking lot and just watch the customers come in go in and come out they were very pleased they had lots of box and bags and it was just refreshing to see 2000 prices again. Greed isn't their idea of serving others. Way to go Avenue BagelsWheelchair accessibility: No problem... Inviting by all handicap and wheelchair accessible first floor entrance.

Love this place! People here are awesome. Love the food and atmosphere. The strawberry cream cheese is highly recommended. Also the chocolate chip cream cheese. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

1st time at this place, and not planning to go back. Food was great, no complaints there. Service could've been better, but I think I know why now. When I came into the store, an older woman was upfront by the registar. She saw me come in and stand on line to place my order, but she was having a conversation with a gentleman and just ignored me. Eventually someone else took my order. Place looked nice, so I chose to eat there. I waited a few minutes for someone to charge me so I could sit down. I stood there for a while but after a few minutes I asked the older lady if I could pay for my order, she pointed to someone else and said "she'll be happy to take your money". I didn't think anything of it, figured she was a joker and just giggled. I paid and sat down. My food came out a few minutes later. The older lady went on to clean tables, sweep the floor... I was enjoying my food, watching TV and than she looked out the window and said something about the cops approaching a woman outside. She started going on and on about how glad she was that the cops were taking this woman. At one point she referred to her as an ape or a monkey. At this point I realized she was being racist. She went on and on about how this woman is always around and how disgusting she is and how she needs to go to a shelter... Her presence clearly bothered her. A gentleman in the store went on to tell her it was rude to use that word and that some people take offense to it. At this point the woman turned around to look at me. She apologized in a sarcastic manner. When I looked out the window I realized she was referring to a woman of color (a homeless brown woman). I happen to be brown myself. Needless to say I was very uncomfortable by this situation, so I took my food and left. I felt sorry for that woman. She didn't realize how awful she was behaving, and how rude. She had two hispanic women behind the counter working their buts off. She didn't care. She was very rude and disrespectful. I would recommend you go somewhere else if this kind of behavior bothers you. If you feel the same way as this woman I guess this place is perfect for you.

Omg my favorite breakfast place! I highly recommend their egg sandwiches. The coffee is always fresh and the staff is so helpful. I can't wait to go back this Sunday.

Very dirty, kitchen needs cleaning and to be updated. Packaging for take out is poorly wrapped, just thrown into a bag and customers pay top $. One particular server very nasty, and management encourages the bad behavior.

My husband and I came yesterday to get some breakfast by his job at this little cute gem not knowing if they were any good. We don’t even live in the area but let me tell you their bagel egg sandwiches OMG!!! Amazing. We came back today and I got a jalapeño bagel with hash browns, sausage and bacon with cheese and it was the bomb lol… The whole staff is so nice and welcoming. The bagels are freshly made, soft and delicious. I will keep coming back lol… this is by far my new favorite bagel place. Thank you Avenue Bagels for making my husband and I feel like family and not just another customer..
