I ordered the egusi with chicken and got the egusi with meat. At first I was disappointed but then I tasted the food and I knew that THEY knew that I didn’t know what I NEEDED lol. It was soooooo flavorful. I’ve tried 3 different Nigerian restaurants in NY and have been let down by all. At first I was going to add this restaurant to the list but it did not disappoint in the slightest. Flavor is A1. Portion is size is A1. And food is not overly priced. Can’t wait until they add more food options. Good job representing the culture.

The first time buying from this guy, I traveled far. The serving was very small and the price is deep.i ordered a jollof rice combo, he plate the tray with two small pieces of chicken a spoon of salad and a lot of rice. I was disappointed with the serving but the rice was so good. My second order was a disaster and now my third and last meal the three little dry meat unbelievable hard. He says ny next order he's going to discount it. Nah, it not gonna be a next time. The two times I physically went the guy wasn't happy to see me, however his other kind of customer come he is all teeth. I can't support people that don't like people of be the same with every customer. If I could I would give a zero stars. Never again will I and I will be tell all my friends and will blast it on facebook

The Egusi Soup had hard pieces of fish in it, the chicken in the soup was burnt. The fufu had the consistency of mash potatoes, i couldn’t even roll it . It was really disappointing realizing the city may have better choices.

Jollof rice with one piece of chicken that was contaminated with egusi for 18 dollars is wild. As a Nigerian I’m disappointed, the laziness in this country with Nigerian food needs to be studied. No other side offerings or nothing and contaminated food. However wish yall the best.
