We are from the port jefferson area, this place is well woth the trip. The word AMAZING is probably the best word to describe. Jose was so welcomeing, atmosphere was warm, no blue, white light bulbs, VERY clean. Everything was delish and plenty of it. Large menue, suggest you look on line before you go. Ate here for first time last night. Will definitely be returning. We were seated right at our reservation time with 8 people. The server staff were all very courteous, polite, and attentive. They took our drink order quickly and went over the night's specials. Both the red and white house wines were good. They took our meal orders promptly. My eggplant meatballs were excellent. Everyone who ordered an appetizer liked it. The orders were big enough for several people to share. Everyone loved their main courses. My Sunday Sauce Rigatoni was very good. I haven't had bracciole that good in years. It was very sweet and not dry at all. It reminded me of Nona's. We enjoyed an after dinner aperitif on them. The presumed owner was attentive and checked on us a few times. It's clear they prioritize service and it was appreciated. The prices are fair and everyone in our party said they will return.

I went here last night with my wife for dinner. I was very impressed with the restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy since it’s a small restaurant. I would say it’s a very nice atmosphere but nothing too fancy. Could be great for a date night or to bring the family and kids. The food was very good. They start off with complimentary bread and butter/oil and focaccia. Our entrees came with side salads which were very nice with home made croutons and house vinaigrette. I had the beef short rib ragu with vodka sauce and my wife had the Chicken and spinach with penne. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and a good size (wife couldn’t finish hers). You can tell everything was home made and cooked fresh. I honestly wanted to try several other dishes on the menu. For desert we got their in house made ice box chocolate cake which was amazing. Overall, it was a nice casual atmosphere, the service was outstanding (Tracy was our waitress) and food was very good. I certainly will be back again when I want authentic Italian food!

The own is the best all of the staff are all helpful and friendly. The food is all trific, I live in SC and whenever I'm on long Island NY I must go to deer park, and eat here. All of the food is like my grandma made it, the best on the island.

My mother and father went to this restaurant and the man who greeted them sat them down as they proceeded to have what was meant to be a nice dinner together. My father is overweight and isn’t in the best of health. My mother is in good shape and looks much younger than she is but still loves my dad very much because she’s a good woman. My mother went to the bathroom and the man who greeted them felt the need to come up to her as she left the restroom and said you should be ashamed of yourself because of the condition of my father. This is completely unacceptable and an absolutely rude and disgusting comment towards two innocent people who don’t deserved to be judged like this. This man should be fired and be ware of going to this restaurant unless you want someone to make rude and unacceptable comments to your family. Jose Rivas is the man’s name who disrespected my family. The owners of this restaurant put this horrible man in charge of greeting the guests of this place. Sadly enough the food was good and the restaurant was pleasant other than this man Jose Rivas who ruined their night. He should be fired and has no right being in the restaurant service industry for his rude comments

I read the reviews before I came here and I am so happy that I can add to those excellent reviews. This was a nice cozy, classy atmosphere. Our waiter Jay was professional and had great people personality. The owner came over to check on us. We ordered several appetizers before and by the time the food came we were full. There was also enough for allOf us to take home left overs. Everything we had was delicious. You must try the veal meatballs on the appetizers menu. It was simply delicious. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. I would recommend making a reservation though. I did. But the place got filled really fast. Will definitely be back.Parking: There is also extra space across the street in an additional parking lot. On the side.
